Pros: I drove Nissan's and Gm products for 20 years. And I'll keep this car until it falls apart.

Unreliable Car by Leo Davidson, New York on 04/29/2004. Trim: 1997 Mitsubishi Diamante ES, Owned 7 years.

Pros: Attractive styling, & power

Cons: Engine oil leaks at 7000 miles, brake failed at 10000 miles, Bad Service, Low resale value, Electrical problems at 30k miles., transmission failed at 35K miles.

Overall review: Don't buy this car. It is an unfinish car and not throughly tested by Mitsubishi, because Mitsu is in financial trouble. Besure to check 1998 Mitsubishi scandal on the internet.

The Ultimate Luxary Car For a Resonable Price Just As Good As A BMW by John on 06/16/2003. Trim: 1997 Mitsubishi Diamante ES, Owned 6 years.

Pros: This car is the best car I have ever owned, bought mine new in 1997 and I drive it pretty hard. All I have had to do is the regular maintenance like oil changes and tires. This car is an ubelievable buy and will last you a lifetime. I plan on driving my 1997 until 2006 I want to see if it can get passed 200 thousand without any major problems.

Cons: Resale value is a little low but if you plan to run it into the ground like I do it's not a problem.
