Pros:
Small and compact. Cargo space, perfect for paintball. 4WD capabilities, fun in snow and mud. Tough and rugged, rear ended someone hardly any damage.
Cons:
Acceleration. Has a "roll effect" around corners.
Overall review:
Greatest little SUV. Just needs bigger tires on it.

Pros:
easy to drive and it's low in maintenance, easy to handle in all weather and road conditions
Cons:
it's underpower and lack safety features, accessories such as compass
Overall review:
the car is good for everyday use but if you're looking for owners comfortability and convenience this car is not for you

Pros:
get around capabilities. the 88 monty can go anywhere with very little problems. ground clearance is good with slightly larger tires.
Cons:
power. very little power w.the 2.6L 4 cyl. if you get larger than specs tires, you lose power and gas mileage.
Overall review:
the whole vehicle is a marvel. from the interior to exterior design, the 88 monty was made for off road activity. two thumbs up for the whole vehicle. some problems can be worked to accomodate each persons desires.
