A car that should worth much more than its book value by Ramin, Canada on 08/01/2011. Trim: 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis LS, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Reliability, power, acceleration, comfortableness,
Overall review: I have had a Honda Civic and Peugeot 206 before and this is my third car. This is the best car that I have ever had. I really love driving this car. I feel that I am the king. It doesn't consume as much fuel as it is expected from its size. It's so good that police and cab drivers have selected this car for many years.

Pros: Air ride in rear, can load large trunk and will auto level,it will still handle good and your lights are not in the tree tops.Seats adjust in every position. It's just great, the best car I've ever owned. My frist car was a 1927 Model T Ford ,I've owned cars for 60 years.
Cons: I have NO dislikes.
Overall review: This is a great car, Don't screw it up , by cutting cost.

Can't Beat Traditional Luxury by An MSN Autos Consumer on 11/29/2012. Trim: 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis LS, Owned more than 10 years.
Pros: Classic traditional styling, 4.6L 16-valve SOHC V8 engine (215hp @ 4,500 rpm/ 285ft-ib of torque @ 3,000rpm with optional handling package), RWD, full-length frame, comfortable 6-passenger seating and huge trunk, auto-leveling rear air-suspension, dual ten-way power front seats, soft leather seats, automatic climate control, digital radio and clock controls are seperate, auto-dimming rear-view mirror with digital compass, trunk-mounted 6-disc CD changer, premium audio system, handling package: larger stabilizer bars, revised race car-inspired front and rear Watt's Linkage suspension, larger 3:23 rear axle ratio, digital instrument cluster, dual exhaust, Goodyear high-performance tires.
Cons: Only two cupholders in the entire car are in the front and block the climate controls when being used, rear seats don't fold down.
Overall review: What a great traditional car. This is a wonderful car to own and drive. It's pretty fast, and is very smooth and quiet on the road. The Mercedes-like door-mounted power seat controls are shaped like the side profile of a seat, making them very easy to use. The car has plenty of room and is comfortable in every seat. Materials quality is above average, and interior detailing is quite nice. Gas mileage is respectable for a large, heavy, and powerful car. The only complaints I have are minor: 1. The climate controls are blocked by the cupholders when in use, but this is understandable because the car has no center-console due to front bench seat. 2. The rear seats don't fold, but the trunk is huge and the back seat is quite large and confortable on long trips. Overall, this is a great car and I highly reccomend it to anyone.

A Superb Family Sedan by Patrick from Bakersfield California on 08/24/2004. Trim: 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis LS, Owned 6 years.
Pros: Exceptional trunk space. A very powerful and useful engine and thousands cheaper than its sister the Ford Crown Victoria. Handles nicely and performs at a top notch level. Looks great and runs great. No major problems with the parts and despite what MSN autos says, i can't find a single engine problem with my vehicle.
Cons: Even though the car is big, it lacks a surplus of leg room and if you have some big teenagers it might be a nuisance. Its not very fuel efficient but still does better than the SUVs.
Overall review: A great family car with the stow space of an SUV, and great handling and manuevering. I would recommend it on a heartbeat.
