Pros:
Decent car I bought mine w/ 152000 and it has done well. It is what it is a small car made for .
Cons:
Niot as great gas milage as I thought but good enough

I wouuld recommend it for a 2nd car if you got a price of 1750 ot lower

Better Value than the Imports!

Pros:
Attractive, well-built, and reliable. One of the safest economy cars of its day. Low revs means higher fuel economy and less engine noise. Has the driving characteristics of a larger car, not an economy car.
Cons:
Interior is stylish, but too spartan (monotone gray interior). Seats may be too hard for some and there's no lumbar support. No in-dash CD player was offered as an option. Lock-up torque converter likes to engage and disengage too often at all speeds 40+mph.
Overall review:
I think these Tracers are a much better value than the imports. Cheaper to buy, cheaper to insure, cheaper to maintain/repair, good reliability. Easy tune-ups can be done by anyone. The Tracer provides all the basic characteristics a good economy car should have and then some!

I HAVE ONLY 42000 MILES ON THIS CAR AND I HAVE MAJOR
TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS I DID ALL PROPER MATINENACE
