the benz 300ce by marc on 12/24/2009. Trim: 1989 Mercedes-Benz 300 CE coupe, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: my first impression was, can this thing even perform? my first test drive answered all my concerns, you know for a little inline 6 3.0l i must say wow what a quick little ride.burned rubber right off the line, no problem hitting 140 m.p.h pulls evenly and strong the whole way, braking is decent i also like the option of a.b.s braking in the earlier years.stylish classic looks that never get old or boring.
Cons: i dont dislike the car, but if i was designing it, i would have given it a more aggresive suspension package, including lower profile tires 16" chrome wheels, wider tires and thick front and rear sway bars with a panhard rod. im used to heavy chevy's
Overall review: overall this is a great car, best bang for the buck, this was a very expensive vehicle brand new, now you can buy them for $3,500-$6,000.invest in your future, these cars are true time capsules that, continue to age like a fine wine, just remember to maintain it.

Superior Coupe by Thomas in Portland on 05/16/2007. Trim: 1989 Mercedes-Benz 300 CE coupe, Owned 10 years.
Pros: The styling is timeless and clean. It is comfortable to drive and very reliable. This coupe delivers performance and safety that other cars 17 years newer sorely lack.
Cons: I don't dislike the car for it, but it could use decent cupholders.
Overall review: Always a pleasure to drive, it pulls strong to 130 MPH and beyond. The suspension and steering is precise and predictable at all speeds. I really enjoy powering down the driver side glass on a warm day to take in the air with barely a ruffle to the hair at 80 mph. Truly a well-engineered car and one of the best cars I have owned.
