one big headache by frustrated owner from jersey on 01/17/2004. Trim: 1997 Mazda Millenia S, Owned 5 years.
1
Pros: it's a very comfortable ride and very stylish. if you put the body kit that is available for it, it will look even better.
Cons: had to get a new trans at 67000 mlies. very expensive car to maintain. parts are insanely too much money. always had problems since i got it.
Overall review: would not recommend it to anyone. unless you want to burn money.

Dollar for Dollar, The Best Car You Will Ever Own by LuAnn on 09/12/2002. Trim: 1997 Mazda Millenia Base, Owned 3 years.
1
Pros: The most enjoyable car I have ever owned. I just traded it today for a 2001 Millenia, with a few less miles. I put 63,000 miles on the 1997 before making the decision to trade. Never had to do anything to it other than routine maintenance.
Cons: There is nothing I disliked about this car.
Overall review: Living in Kansas, this car has been subjected to all types of weather and road conditions. It never failed to start, it handled like a champ through pouring rain, ice and snow. I just traded it in today for a 2001 Millenia with a few less miles and I will miss it greatly. I became a Mazda fan after purchasing a 1993 Protoge. The Protoge has 130,000 miles on it's original engine, transmission and clutch. It uses a little oil now and then, but that's all. At 63,000 miles, I had yet to replace so much as the brakes on the 1997 Millenia. I always follow the scheduled maintenance and have never had to replace more than hoses, belts, batteries, tires, etc. on my Mazda's.

An alright foregin "Luxury" car by James from OKC, OK on 08/07/2002. Trim: 1997 Mazda Millenia Base, Owned 2 years.
1
Pros: Nice peppyness. Looks nice with tinted windows.
Cons: Not a real great ride for a "luxury" car. Kinda small on space in the inside.
Overall review: If your in the market for a luxury car that has OK gas milage with a little pep, this might be the car for you. Otherwise, if your looking for a nice comfortable ride, "luxury" car acutramonts, and style, I might suggest you spend the same amount of money on a nice Cadalac, or Lincoln or something.
