"SevenYears of Review" by "Owner of Fine Cars" on 05/26/2008. Trim: 1998 BMW M3 Convertible, Owned 7 years.

Pros: Comfort, ride, handling, & power, are all great!
Cons: I've owned this car seven years since 26,000 miles. Presently has over 90,000. This is a dry weather automobile. You need a raincoat in either front seat during rain. I understand why BMW has a manual crank to raise the top. You never know when it will work or not! At 27,000 miles, I had to replace the heater/ac control in the dashboard. The part was over $300.00 with a discount not to mention the labor. Hope you never have to replace the Air conditioning condenser. That part is over $400.00. Not the best car in the snow.
Overall review: Beemers have great engines, comfort, and steering. As for repairs, plan on having deep pockets!

The Super Speedster by Colin from Princeton,IL on 01/03/2007. Trim: 1998 BMW M3 Sedan, Owned 2 years.

Pros: This car looks good, it handels well, and oh yeah, it's fast.
Cons: When I bought it, it had a few problems. Some of its lights had burnt out and it leaked anti-freeze. However, all of them were easily fixable.
Overall review: This car is great.

Topless fun by Bob from Alexandria, VA on 12/21/2003. Trim: 1998 BMW M3 Convertible, Owned 1 year.

Pros: Performance, luxury, looks, all in one very nicely wrapped package. Sits four, decent trunk space, AND a convertible.
Cons: The maintenance is expensive. Needs one thing or another every 2-3 months, never cheap either.
Overall review: Love this car, not cheap to own, but a pleasure to drive.

No-guilt sports car by Stimpy on 10/16/2003. Trim: 1998 BMW M3 Coupe, Owned 5 years.
1
Pros: The car is so wonderfully balanced, easy to drive, reliable, even very practical with the rear folding seats. I would recommend it to just about anyone. It's even pretty good in the snow if you get the right tires. I drove the new M3 and it is awesome, however, I feel the roads and laws here in the USA do not allow the capabilities of the new M3 to be fully appreciated. You can save $25,000 and buy a nice used M3. After the last tune-up I get 30MPG,.
Cons: Scheduled maintenance while rare is expensive. You can save a ton by buying parts online and paying a good mechanic to install them.
Overall review: Great car!
