Terrific Car by Gary, Langhorne, Pa on 02/27/2011. Trim: 1999 Lincoln Town Car Executive, Owned more than 10 years.

Pros: Very good handling and a pleasure to drive, has original battery and tires after 12 years and 50K miles.
Cons: One minor problem with the shifter switch needed to be replaced. Other than that vehicle has been problem free.
Overall review: Body and paint looks as great as the new ones off the assemly line due to being garage kept until last year to house our new 2010 MKZ. Lookinig to keep the Town car as a Clasic in the year 2019

Professor Z's 1999 Lincoln Town Car review by Professor Z on 12/10/2008. Trim: 1999 Lincoln Town Car Signature, Owned 3 years.

Pros: As a larger auto driver for many years, with makes and models ranging from a 1969 Cadillac's Fleetwood Broham to a 1976 Lincoln Continental Town Car ( the one with the opera windows and foot rests in the rear) I find the '99 Town Car above average to excelleent in MOST catagories. It is a pleasure to sit in her and , except for what is listed below, to drive her, especially for long distances.
Cons: The stearing system leaves a little to be desired, it is washey and too sensitive to road conditions, requiring a great deal of corrective stearing. While breaking is good, it is noisy when pads are replaced with better than standard, bottom line pads/shoes. Thuough the Alpine system is an improvement over the previous JBL, it still is limited with respect to options and power. take note that I am NOT one of those BOOMER fans! I replaced the satandard Alpine with a JVC single CD, AM, FM, FM- HD and found the sub-woffer controll margionally effective, yet better than the Alpine's performance.
Overall review: overall I'd give the 1999 Lincoln Town Car B+. I'm sure most drivers will find it comfortabe, well built and powerful enough to navegate onto the interstate, thiough it is defenately NOT an off the line auto. Enjoy the ride!

1999 Lincoln Town Car by Derek, Boston, MA on 01/05/2008. Trim: 1999 Lincoln Town Car Signature, Owned 2 years.

Pros: Smooth, powerful, comfortable leather couch on wheels.
Cons: A few minor but annoying electrical problems. Drivers seat won't go forwards or backwards, but all other adjustments work. Windows work slowly and get stuck in very cold weather. Door locks sometimes don't unlock in cold weather. Stereo is poor for such a high end car.
Overall review: Very comfortable and smooth ride. Love the steering wheel mounted controls and auto temperature, auto headlights and auto night vision rear view mirror. I get annoyed when driving a car without these features now! Handles very well for a big car. No major repairs except front ball joints.

Great ride by Chuy from California on 07/29/2006. Trim: 1999 Lincoln Town Car Executive, Owned 6 years.
1
Pros: Excellent ride characteristics. Huge trunk, carries 4 golf bags with no problem, or up to six 25-28 inch travel suitcases. Mileage varies from 18 to 24 mpg depending on driving conditions. I have 103,000 fairly trouble free miles, bought used with 21,000 miles on it.
Cons: Can be hard to park, long length is not easy to parralel park. and width can sometimes be a problem.
Overall review: Great car for comfort.
