Great cars by John on 05/22/2008. Trim: 1994 Lexus SC 400, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Great car, even after being 14 years old, still looks modern. No problems, still no tattles etc.
Cons: Can't think of any, they did their homework when they built these cars.
Overall review: If you can find one with all the records and want a car that will last, can't go wrong with one of these.

True driver's car with reliability and quality with a capital Q!! by Warren from Cedar City on 04/24/2006. Trim: 1994 Lexus SC 300, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Build quality. Solid doors. Feel on the road. Straight and smooth as glass. Powerful, yet economical and quiet engine. Fabulous handling. The factory stereo is one of the best automotive systems I've listened to. Seating and console layout are also perfect. The sunroof. The instrument panel. At night the needles appear to float. Steering wheel adjustment with a joystick for up and down and in and out. Cockpit layout can be adjusted and saved for two people. The engine compartment is very sanitary and all routine maintenance items are easy to access. The cabin uses a 3 micron air filter. Traction control. Climate control is automatic, easy to use and comfortable. The overall complete package.
Cons: No dislikes whatsoever. Better cup holders would be appreciated.
Overall review: Purchased this 1994 SC300 in April of 2006. It was a one owner with only 17,700 miles. The first owner bought it at the age of 82 and kept religious service records and it was always garaged. The car both looks and runs as new. I initially was looking for an SC400, but when this came up on Autotrader one morning I couldn't resist. I also couldn't be happier with the car. I am a "car guy". I've owned a 1995 Trans Am, 1976 911, 1999 4Runner and lots and lots of others. This Lexus is better than anything I've owned. I test drove a 2006 BMW 325i and while an incredible car, could not justify the $20,000 price difference. I also test drove a 2001 Jaguar XK8 and was very disappointed. If you can find a clean, well maintained used SC and enjoy driving, buy it!

Lexus SC think twick before buying by An MSN Autos Consumer on 06/16/2004. Trim: 1994 Lexus SC 400, Owned 10 years.
Pros: Fit and finish outstanding. Engine outstanding.
Cons: Cars have numerous problems beginning when they are only a few years old. Major problem, poor engineering of powersteering pump that leaks on top of alternator. Other problems-lights that leak, dash and instrument lights that go out, powersteering rack, driveshaft assembly, door hinge, CD problems on early models, minor door assembly problems that include power windows, trunk lid shocks, ac vents crack expensive to replace.
Overall review: If you want one, get a certified one.
