Love that you have to put up with by John, Beverly Hills on 11/10/2001. Trim: 1994 BMW 325ic, Owned 8 years.
Pros: Nice styling, smooth controlled handling.
Cons: A bit too many repairs, not quite enough power on the low end.
Overall review: Bought new, and fun since... except for several repairs over the years. Heated seats failed, cooling system, fuel pump and so on. Make sure you buy the extended warranties.

A composure of near-perfection... by Daniel, New Zealand on 05/12/2011. Trim: 1994 BMW 318is, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Being 18, your car has to look cool. The 318is has that sense of style that you just don't get from other cars. It looks fantastic, especially with the motorsport body kit which actually comes factory, interior looks great, leather seats, amazing stereo and speakers especially for factory, and it drives amazingly. I have driven other cars and this is by far the best. It's so smooth around the corners, really speeds up when you put your foot down, and quite frankly, it's a BMW.
Cons: Having said all those positive things, no car is perfect. With this car, a few issues have arisen. For example, my water pump broke, not a major, so I fixed that easily, after that there was an airlock in the thermometer which stopped the water from reaching the engine, and due to my lack of attention to the dash, I almost caused my car to explode. But I did notice, I got rid of the airlock, and all was well.
Overall review: I highly recommend this car. Not only is it fast and reliable, it's sleek, stylish and stunning to look at. It's quite rare to find cars like these. Driving it, you can feel the cars personality, when you're in the drivers seat, you can just feel the individuality of it, there is no other car like it. The performance, the aesthetics of it, they all come together to create an amazing car that pretty much outshines any other. Being completely honest, I will keep this car till it dies, then revive it from the dead. Cars like these are dying out, most cars driven nowadays have no soul, no passion hammered into the chassis of the car. That is probably the main reason why no other car will matter after you have driven one of these. A truly stunning car.

94 318is owner by jj marquis on 09/05/2008. Trim: 1994 BMW 318is, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Still a head turner, well built, parts are easy to locate on Pelican auto parts down to the last screw.
Cons: You HAVE to do your matainance by the book!!! It's not cheep to own. BMW knows the life of a part, if they say replace it do it!!! It will run like a new car forever! But If your not handy with a wrench,or know a great mechanic don't buy it! Buy BMW parts only!! The engineers design this car so percise that after maket ( electrical parts) will cause you all kinds of problems. Bimmer forums has a nice full instruction upgrade for a 7 to 18 button obc.
Overall review: Great car for the money!! classic styling. runs like a dream if you can afford the mantainace. Do not try to upgrade anything the electrical is too complicated for most mechanic's. Pelican auto parts has a turbo upgrade for the car that is top notch.
