The Best of Both Worlds by Gunny T , Abilene, Texas on 12/09/2013. Trim: 2014 Lexus IS F Sedan, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: A great everyday vehicle with above average performance. Handling and brakes are first class. I was surprised at how easy it was to live with a performance oriented vehicle. Fuel mileage is best in class. I love the amenities that you don't normally have in a performance car such as heated seats, backup camera and park assist. Even has great cup holders. Bluetooth pairing is a breeze as well. The 8 speed AT is fantastic, shifting so quickly and smoothly you won't believe it.
Cons: I would like to see a larger trunk and or fold down back seats as "pass thru" is not enough on a car with a smallish trunk. The Mark Levinson stereo could use a more powerful subwoofer as the open air sub is not adequate. Suspension is somewhat harsh although you get used to it. I would like to see a magneto-rheological shock system similar to what GM and Ferrari uses giving the occupants a smooth but controlled ride. And of course more power would be welcomed as well.
Overall review: I have owned other performance cars including a couple of Porsche Boxsters. The IS F is a much easier car to live with than any of my previously owned vehicles. It does everything well with typical trouble free driving. It can be driven as a daily driver and then take it to the track and drive it hard and not worry about it coming apart. This is a typical Lexus high quality built car. Other manufactures should build cars to this high standard. I think this is the best of both worlds....luxury and performance coupled with Lexus reliability.

Best of all worlds by carnut on 05/13/2014. Trim: 2014 Lexus IS F Sedan, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Handling is awesome, great seats, fit and finish, excellent sound system, aggressive styliing
Cons: Electronics take some getting used to and can be a little distraction
Overall review: Have owned Porsche 911's (2), BMW M3, BMW 535, Mustang GT, Acura TL's (2) and the IS seems to combine the best features of all these vehicles. Sports car and luxury car in one.
