2014 Kia Optima Turbo by Rhonda on 11/24/2013. Trim: 2014 Kia Optima SX Turbo, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: I just bought the 2014 Turbo. Handles great, lots of power, the engine is quite and smooth. The gas mileage is great for a Turbo.
Cons: The passengers seat is not adjustable. The road noise is terrible.
Overall review: Overall, still unsure due to only having it a few days.

Family houler by Fast lane on 10/20/2013. Trim: 2014 Kia Optima EX, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Very good looking smoother ride than last years. But still a lot of noise in the cabin on moderate acceleration.
Cons: Car still very high on road noise engine also very unrefined .rough ride and new dash that looks cheaper than the previous one.
Overall review: This is a good car for the price but it never lets you forget the price.

Best in Class! by A Boston Brahmen on 11/18/2013. Trim: 2014 Kia Optima SX Turbo, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Bought the SX w/all the whistles and bells in lieu of buying another BMW 325. The Optima handles great and has great acceleration. Not to mention the great gas mileage on regular 87 octane gas. I don't think there is a better value to be found in this vehicles class.
Cons: The one drawback is the exterior road noise that is noticeable. Of course smoother roads make the problem less noticeable but it never goes away completely.
Overall review: Give it a 9 on a scale of 10. Comparing it to the BMW 325 and Benz C class The longer I have it the more I'm liking it.

An accident waiting to happen. by Unhappy would be an understatement, Camarillo, CA on 02/21/2014. Trim: 2014 Kia Optima EX, Owned 1 year.
Pros: I have the EX. It has a lot of features for a car in this price range.
Cons: The sunroof can only be opened when the shade is completely retracted in both the front and back. The steering is the worst of any car I've driven. The car won"t track straight. It constantly wanders from side to side. Many people have experienced this problem. I've done some searching online and found that there are whole websites dedicated to this topic. Apparently, not every car has the problem. But, if yours does - it'll be the worst car you've ever driven. I've taken it to the service department numerous times. The first time was the day after I got it. After two alignments, a new steering column, and reprogram, their response is that it is within specs and there is no problem.
Overall review: I hate my car. The constant need to correct its wandering wears me out. My arms and hands get sore after a short time behind the wheel. Until Kia publicly acknowledges the steering problem and comes up with a fix - I would avoid this car like the plague. If you're going to go ahead and buy one - make sure you take a very extended test drive in the actual car that you are going to buy. I don't like the front seats. The seat backs are too concave, and, the headrest is in an awkward position. I don't like the location of the cruise control buttons on the steering wheel on my EX. I would like them to be on the outer side. I guess they've found that people like playing with their trip computer more than they use cruise control. The location is better on the LX model.

"Best Bang for the Buck Out There " by An MSN Autos Consumer on 12/22/2013. Trim: 2014 Kia Optima SX, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Traded in my 2011 Optima for 2014 , got the better package this time . Nothing but good things to say really about this car , in my opinion best bang for your buck out there and i've owned a wide variety of vehicles including BMW (WAY OVER-RATED & MUCH TOO COSTLY TO REPAIR ), Cadillac , Hondas,Corvettes, ect .....and great fuel economy for size & comfort ..
Cons: I agree with others the only thing they could improve on is road noise , but i've driven Infinity g-37 & Honda Accords that are just as loud.
Overall review: We love this car , repeat buyer . NOT the old throw away KIA'S , quality has gone up expodiently from the early year model KIA'S. Glad to see they are made in USA NOW ALSO, my 2011 was made in Korea .
