Family houler by Fast lane on 10/20/2013. Trim: 2014 Kia Optima EX, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Very good looking smoother ride than last years. But still a lot of noise in the cabin on moderate acceleration.
Cons: Car still very high on road noise engine also very unrefined .rough ride and new dash that looks cheaper than the previous one.
Overall review: This is a good car for the price but it never lets you forget the price.

An accident waiting to happen. by Unhappy would be an understatement, Camarillo, CA on 02/21/2014. Trim: 2014 Kia Optima EX, Owned 1 year.
Pros: I have the EX. It has a lot of features for a car in this price range.
Cons: The sunroof can only be opened when the shade is completely retracted in both the front and back. The steering is the worst of any car I've driven. The car won"t track straight. It constantly wanders from side to side. Many people have experienced this problem. I've done some searching online and found that there are whole websites dedicated to this topic. Apparently, not every car has the problem. But, if yours does - it'll be the worst car you've ever driven. I've taken it to the service department numerous times. The first time was the day after I got it. After two alignments, a new steering column, and reprogram, their response is that it is within specs and there is no problem.
Overall review: I hate my car. The constant need to correct its wandering wears me out. My arms and hands get sore after a short time behind the wheel. Until Kia publicly acknowledges the steering problem and comes up with a fix - I would avoid this car like the plague. If you're going to go ahead and buy one - make sure you take a very extended test drive in the actual car that you are going to buy. I don't like the front seats. The seat backs are too concave, and, the headrest is in an awkward position. I don't like the location of the cruise control buttons on the steering wheel on my EX. I would like them to be on the outer side. I guess they've found that people like playing with their trip computer more than they use cruise control. The location is better on the LX model.

2014 Kia Optima Turbo by Rhonda on 11/24/2013. Trim: 2014 Kia Optima SX Turbo, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: I just bought the 2014 Turbo. Handles great, lots of power, the engine is quite and smooth. The gas mileage is great for a Turbo.
Cons: The passengers seat is not adjustable. The road noise is terrible.
Overall review: Overall, still unsure due to only having it a few days.

Best in V4 class regarding style, HP, and head turning! by E Dubl from 2up2down on 01/30/2014. Trim: 2014 Kia Optima SX Turbo, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Sound system is off the charts! Test drove both the LX and SX, bad mistake....SX Turbo blew my mind and pockets lol...but we'll worth it :) got mines for $28,500 (w/premium pkg).
Cons: Rear side view poor, due to high back, but you could raise the driver seat's height if you want to see very clear. No raising of passenger seat, so they just can sit there and be quiet....NO CO-PILOT! Lol
Overall review: Great power for a 4 cylinder, and gas not bad considering. I'm proud to be an owner of one!

2014 Kia Optima SX Turbo_Optimus Prime by JamesG on 05/03/2014. Trim: 2014 Kia Optima SX Turbo.
Pros: Perfect interior geared towards the driver Plenty of standard and available upscale features Excellent pricing and availability of rebates Compared to 2010 Optima, 2014 is better in every way
Cons: Exterior in certain colors not the best looking Steering wheel feels extremely light, even in sport mode
Overall review: 2014 Kia Optima has returned with newly restyled exterior and interior. Just from first glance you can tell this car is about business. The design language in the interior is next level and stands head and shoulders above its competitors. The centerpiece driver center is laid out with simple buttons for you to make adjustments. There is also ample interior space for you and your company. Next the exterior. New wheels along with a restyled front fascia and rear view has given this Optima a new character. Some may find its design a little over the top while others will fall in love on first site. Engine performance with turbo is impressive putting out 274HP and with the available sport and economic modes the driver can choose a driving experience that fits there needs with a touch of a button. Lastly the pricing begins around 27500 for a base turbo with prices reaching over 30 with technology and sound packages you can add. This vehicle is a class leader for its segment for sure.
