The Best coupe there is! by Just want to have FUN Tacoma on 12/06/2013. Trim: 2014 Volkswagen Beetle R-Line w/Sunroof, Sound & Nav, Owned less than 1 year.
10
Pros: What a fun snappy coupe, if want a enjoyable 2 door car that you look good in and you like going fast. Then the Turbo Beetle is the car for you.
Cons: It could use some power seats for driver and passanger.
Overall review: This Beetle is a Blast to drive!

The Peoples Car by An MSN Autos Consumer on 12/18/2013. Trim: 2014 Volkswagen Beetle TDI w/Sunroof, Sound & Nav, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: Great automobile!!! Fun to drive. Plenty of acceleration and handles extremely well. And with the diesel, we get well over 40 mpg overall. The "Bug" designed by Porsche, recently redesigned, is a car for the people. Guess that's why it's historically been one the world's best selling cars.
Cons: As noted, power seats for the driver and passenger would have been nice. But the seats are easily adjusted manually. Upgrades can bring the price up but didn't find them exorbitant (i.e.. mini).
Overall review: Wonderful car for the money. Plenty of room for two adults in front and a couple of kids in back. Test drove a number of convertible minis before deciding to look at the convertible Beetle. Glad we made that choice. Hands down a better deal, a better vehicle and fun to drive. Note: Trim options did not allow selection of TDI convertible with sound and nav so chose the next best thing.

"The Affordable Droptop" by El Pimpo on 03/05/2014. Trim: 2014 Volkswagen Beetle R-Line, Owned 1 year.

Pros: Love the turbo's acceleration. Love the funkified Beetle look. Our convertible is super quiet with the top up.
Cons: Not a whole lot yet. A bit concerned about VW's maintainence schedule.
Overall review: Fun vehicle. Take a turbo convertible model out for a spin.

"It'll fool ya" by Jim from South Bend on 01/11/2014. Trim: 2014 Volkswagen Beetle R-Line, Owned 1 year.

Pros: This is my wifes 2013 Beetle 2.0 Turbo R-line convertible. Way faster than it has any right to be for a Beetle. Handles decent.. Firm suspension. Turns heads if you're into that.
Cons: No room in back with adults in front. Cheap looking floor carpet.
Overall review: Right in our price range for a sporty cruising convertible.
