2014 VW Tiguan SUV by Caspi on 02/15/2014. Trim: 2014 Volkswagen Tiguan SE, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: Great European design, nothing more nothing less. In fashion perfect just-right finished professionally done. 200h turbocharged and automatic transmissions handle very well. I am experienced driver, have many cars and few SUVs and I wasn't disappointed how Tiguan handled in city and highway. I like leather and heated seats, all over to say pleasure to drive and comfortable. Plenty space on back seat. Cargo space was smaller than expected, but you can expand cargo by closing back seats. It's also more nimble, responsive, friendly and fun to drive.
Cons: Premium gas, (but most German car use Premium and this is where performance come). One things is confusing me why No automatic headlight? So, you need at night switch it on. With extra options its little overprice, comparing with other SUVs.
Overall review: Tiguan really if you are looking great strong look German design and performance from SUV. This is the good reliable one. I am definitely recommend buy this SUV.

German Quality At A Reasonable Price by Dale on 01/17/2014. Trim: 2014 Volkswagen Tiguan S 4MOTION, Owned 1 year.

Pros: Great design, perfect just-right height, finishes professionally done, material quality excellent, very comfortable on trips, absolutely quiet interior, nice kick in the pants when you need it, 6-speed gearbox gives great acceleration/deceleration and overall feel of an AUDI Q5 while paying about $10 grand less.
Cons: Minor: a turbo "rattle" when you really mash down on the accelerator.
Overall review: I looked at an AUDI Q5 and the VW Tiguan on the same weekend. (I owned an AUDI A3 and was ready for a change.) After driving both, I chose the VW because the level of finish was so perfect, I got a great AWD system that has powered me through a bunch of Mid-Atlantic snowstorms of up to 2 feet without any hesitation, the most incredibly accommodating VW service department and a car that is fun to drive and has sharp design...all for about $10 grand less! It's a high-quality German SUV that feels larger inside than it looks outside. I love it!

Pros: Best SUV on the Market! Not over done, clean and simple and I mean simple as a good thing.
Cons: All, Panoramic roof, fender stereo, the way it drives!!!!!!! Best vehicle we have ever had in the snow and we had many opportunities to use it this year.
Overall review: Tried all of them out there within reason, we have had a few Tiguans through the years and keep going back, this one is keeps!

Most fun drive ever! by TigerLover from Minnesota on 06/21/2014. Trim: 2014 Volkswagen Tiguan SE, Owned 1 year.

Pros: Very much fun to drive especially in the tiptronic mode. Looks great, excellent rear visibility, lots of storage space around the dashboard and above. The pedals and the drivers seat are so well aligned that a petite woman can be comfortable without using a pillow or other adjusting. Spacious inside although compact on the outside, shorter than an average sedan. Easy to get in and out from. The dashboard controls are simple, and easy to use for people who have to wear winter gloves or have arthritis. The engine is extremely quiet and really just purrs when you accelerate fast. None of that screechy turbo noise that others have. The front wheel drive is fine in brutal winter weather.
Cons: I can't stand the sun visor. It covers only half the window when you are trying to shield the sun coming from the driver,s side window. The cargo space is small unless you fold down the rear seats. So this SUV is not for people that carry a lot of junk. Gas mileage could be better but I get 25 mpg when I drive carefully, not accelerating much on up hills etc. the dashboard gives you real-time feedback on gas mpg, which helps you drive better. And like most cars, the seat belt is not well adjusted for petite people.
Overall review: Awesome engine with 200 hp and steering that makes city and highway driving great fun. Great ride for singles or couples with a young child.
