Compared A6 TDI to VW Passat TDI by tmlima from Rehoboth Ma on 11/03/2013. Trim: 2014 Audi A6 3.0 TDI Premium Plus quattro Tiptronic.
Pros: Styling and quality of materials. Handling is great and car is very quite. The fuel mileage is better than EPA mpg's.
Cons: Lack of storage in the cabin. Back seat leg room is lacking, even small for kids.
Overall review: I own a 2013 Passat TDI. My wife owns an Audi Q5. I decided to look at the A6 TDI because I felt it would be more luxurious. However, I am keeping the Passat. The Audi doesn't feel as spacious as the Passat. The A6 lacks many storage compartments (my wife's complaint of the Q5). The rear seat space is very, very small. The A6 is a very nice car, quite, comfortable and great gas mileage. However the MPG's on the Passat is better. My avg MPG in the Passat is 44. Both diesel engines are quite and have great torque. For the extra $25k to $30k, the Passat is a much better buy in my opinion.

Audi is now top dog by Kevin James Gaughan on 11/23/2013. Trim: 2014 Audi A6 3.0T Premium Plus quattro Tiptronic, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Performance is excellent. I own the 3.0 supercharged Prestige package and love the ability to change from Comfort, Auto, Dynamic and Individual modes. Around town I use comfort as it gives the ride a caddy feel. On the highway when I get one of those idiots in the lowered Prelude and fat muffler trying to impress his girlfriend and put me on front street I put it in Dynamic mode and the kid is toast every single solitary time. I have beaten Beemers, Camaro's etc. I have the 20" inch sport package with full LED lighting and it also has night vision. Aviator Blue with brown leather interior.
Cons: Only two complaints and they are very minor. I wish the trunk had the automatic close like some of the SUV's have today. This is not being lazy but the trunk opens high and needs a good push to close so it would be a nice a feature to have. I also wish the glove compartment were bigger as you cannot put too much in there.
Overall review: Excellent vehicle. I considered and test drove the Infiniti Q35, Benz E350, and BMW 535i. All of them were and are good cars, but to me the looks of this vehicle with the 20" sport package, full LED lighting and all the technology which is easy to use including Google Earth from Audi connect made this the easy choice.

Previous Owner of many Audi's by Swinnerton on 11/21/2013. Trim: 2014 Audi A6 3.0T Premium Plus quattro Tiptronic, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: I have owed three Audi A-6's and a Q-7 and Q-5 and this car with the 2.0 T is fuel efficient and has all the creature comfort you want in a luxury car at this price. Sorry but you can not compare the new A-6 with a Passat. I am over 6 feet and have no problem sitting in the back seat. The handling and features make this a great buy for someone wanting to own a German engineered car with great value at the right price.
Cons: Somewhat confusing controls on the MMI system even though I have owned several Audi's before you have to work at taking advantage of all the features.
Overall review: I would recommend the new 2104 Audi A-6 for the buyer who wants luxury at a reasonable price and add the maintenance plan to save time and money on service. Having been a Audi owner for over 20 years they just keep making improvements that make this car one of the best on the road. The style is elegant and handling and design make this a great buy for any buyer. I have been sold on Audi for a long time and the new A-6 does not disappoint.

Best Car I've ever owned by nola lawyer on 11/20/2013. Trim: 2014 Audi A6 3.0 TDI Premium Plus quattro Tiptronic, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Mileage with diesel engine, steering, braking and handling, technology.
Cons: Front coffee cup holders
Overall review: I own the A6 Prestige, 3.0 diesel but test drove the other 2 engine choices. The 3.0 supercharged gas engine is the fastest but the diesel gets amazing mileage for a sports car. I drove from Highlands, NC to Mandeville, LA on one tank of diesel. This car is amazingly nimble, easy and fun to drive. It has great acceleration, braking and turning. There is minimal body lean of the car on mountain roads and sharp turns. I wholeheartedly disagree with the first comment that the interior lacks room or space in the rear. Maybe that individual was speaking of a prior year model. There is plenty of space. Not knocking the Passat but really isn't fair to compare these cars. We are talking about 2 different classes of cars. The performance of the vehicle, combined with the mileage demonstrates cutting edge feat of technology by Audi engineers. If you buy this vehicle, make sure you get the diesel engine. It is worth it.

Fast and (Gas) Hungry! by Austin on 11/05/2013. Trim: 2014 Audi A6 3.0T Premium Plus quattro Tiptronic, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: I previously had a Volkswagen CC 2.0T, and this was a huge bump up! Beautiful interior and exterior. Handles amazing in the snow. Awesome around corners. Only downside is the gas! I swear I'm always filling up. I guess that just comes with buying a V6. But I'm happy with my purchase :)
Cons: Gas! The engine entices you to push it, and you seem to run out of gas pretty fast. (I have the 3.0T)
Overall review: I would recommend this to anyone, Audi is an excellent brand (as is VW).
