The only SUV you'll ever need. by Car Fanatic from Savannah on 10/18/2013. Trim: 2014 Acura MDX 6-Spd AT SH-AWD w/Tech Package.
Pros: This the MDX that the 2013 wishes it could be. From the quietness and ability to change the steering wheel feel using the IDS button, this is the extremely new 2014 MDX. Far better gas mileage than the 2013, softer seats, and easier access to the 3rd row and rear hatch. The new LEDs at night time are phenomenal, with no need for a fog light. With the LED DRLs, you won't miss this car coming or going. With the addition of puddle lights to the tech package with Blind Spot Indicators (BSI), you can not go wrong with this SUV. You can control your car with your phone using AcuraLink. Don't cross this off your list without driving it!
Cons: I wasn't thoroughly impressed with the ELS in the MDX. Thought the sub could be a bit louder.
Overall review: Great handling. Great gas mileage. Comfort level is up to par. The quietness of the new MDX is unbelievable. Goes head to head with the Germans and wins.

2014 Acura MDX by An MSN Autos Consumer on 11/26/2013. Trim: 2014 Acura MDX 6-Spd AT SH-AWD w/Tech Package, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: The headlights provide nice even bright lighting across the road. Acceleration is very smooth and responsive. Gets Mini-van type gas mileage. Display read outs are functional and easy to use. Enjoying the three IDS settings. Third row is very accessible. SHAWD is very capable in any weather and road conditions.
Cons: In a weight saving effort the doors, hood, and corner panels seem very thin. Remote start doesn't really work unless your very close to the vehicle.
Overall review: Ten years of trouble free driving from a 2003 Odyssey led me to purchase another Honda engineered vehicle. I wanted the Honda reliability but with a little more luxury without the MB, Audi, or BMW sticker shock. So far after 4k miles I have no issues.

the disappointing SUV by Jerry from Denison on 12/03/2013. Trim: 2014 Acura MDX 6-Spd AT, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: I like the style, seat comfort, standard features, handling, fuel economy, engine power, roomy, access to 3rd row, steering wheel controls and touch screen audio controls, best night vision, great headlights and taillights
Cons: this is the most stiff and noisy suspension I have ever owned. I expected a much softer and quiet ride when buying a luxury vehicle that claims to have a very quiet ride with little or no road or tire noise, according to Acura literature and internet and salesman information
Overall review: There are less expensive SUV models with a softer and more quiet ride than the MDX
