I See Max Enjoyment with my C-Max by Jerry in Boulder on 02/18/2014. Trim: 2014 Ford C-Max Energi SEL, Owned 1 year.
Pros: An extremely intelligent vehicle. Intelligent in its concept. Intelligent in the execution of that concept. And intelligent in its overall design and performance. Plus, it's an absolute delight when driving it ... great ergonomics, agility, road-feel and conveniences. I'm a converted Honda owner of over 25 years and just love this vehicle. There's totally seamless transitioning between the electric-mode and regular gas engine usage. It's still a bit bewildering knowing that I only have to gas-up about once a month!
Cons: These are nit-picks but the extra battery size does constrict the cubic storage space in the rear. Also, there's not a lot of little bins or storage spots in the cabin for loose change, pens, etc..
Overall review: Couldn't be more enthused about this vehicle. It exudes state-of-the-art technology and in averaging over 70 mpg of gasoline just leaves me feeling good about my contribution to reducing dependency on foreign oil sources. Thank you Ford ... you hit this one out of the park!

Pros: This is an incredible car. You get the best bang for your buck, and you have the ability to drive thousands of miles without touching a drop of gas.
Cons: No cons for this car

Why Buy Anything Else!! by SoCal commuter on 06/26/2014. Trim: 2014 Ford C-Max Energi SEL, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Amazing handling, stylish interior, and of course great MPG...
Cons: Space for my camping gear is limited and it would be nice to have a roof rack.
Overall review: Living and working in the same city is the ideal situation for this vehicle with its EV only mode. I never use gas commuting to work and back. Gas engine is quiet, strong, and fuel efficient when needed on the extended trips. I love this vehicle and always look forward to getting into it for my commutes.

Great Plug-in but never without the gas engine backup. by Dnodo on 07/11/2014. Trim: 2014 Ford C-Max Energi SEL, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: First 5,000 mile has been averaging 65mpg. My commute is 65 miles roundtrip per day in heavy city traffic. Overnight charge takes the first 20 miles on EV then kicks to hybrid. Can't even tell when engine mode changes.
Cons: Would like 60 miles off the plug before using gas which would really make it a gas sipper the way I drive. Battery pack takes up too much hatch space.
Overall review: Awesome

Best gas saver on the market....bar none! by capview on 06/22/2014. Trim: 2014 Ford C-Max Energi SEL, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Averaging 65 mpg
Cons: All the unfair bad reviews that hyper focus on the Ford Sync issues. We haven't experienced any of these. This car has been wonderful to own and saves hs $500.00+ in gas a month.
Overall review: Go test drive a Prius, then the CMax....you will noticed the difference in build quality and engine power.
