The Ultimate JEEP by BOB---Beaverton on 05/17/2002. Trim: 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport, Owned 3 years.
Pros: This JEEP stands out, beautiful in all aspects, emeraled green W/ bluish tint. Approx. $10,000`s in custom add-on`s,...4" suspension lift, Eagle custom wheels, 33x15" super swampers, custom crome crawler bumpers w/ hitch. Crome rock guards, nerf bars, tail lite guards and hood lock downs. Premier stereo system W/ stereo bar and 2-amps and sub wolfer. Custom driving/fog and back-up lites.Top it off W/ a X800i Warn Winch.
Overall review: This has been a great rig and should stay that way. The Jeep was bought in 1999 nerver been wrecked and only a small rock chip in front. There is only 28 K miles on it, so I`m sure there still is a on going factory warranty in effect.

Topless fun! by Sleepless in Montana on 12/04/2011. Trim: 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport, Owned 2 years.
Pros: Extremely fun vehicle to drive off road. Take the top off for the summer and enjoy! Relatively cheap convertible and has the Jeep cachet. You look rugged and outdoorsy even if you aren't.
Cons: Much less fun with the top on. Crowded cab and almost 0 storage area. I'm 5' 11' and ride around in it like it's a go-cart when the doors are on.
Overall review: If you want to have fair weather fun, this vehicle is the ticket! Take friends sight seeing with no doors and no roof legally! Best veiw on the planet. Decent mileage too (around 20 mpg) Turns on a dime and takes on dirt roads and trails with aplomb.

Only in a jeep!! by thestuntboy on 10/27/2005. Trim: 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Capable from the word go for trail work. Can be modified in any number of ways. A must for an outdoor adventure type. Easy to maintain.
Cons: No cargo space although can be mitigated by add-on racks but weight and balance penalties. Not a high speed highway vehicle. A bit tricky for beginners if not careful or patient.
Overall review: The only real true 4X4 there is and can go just about anywhere with the right driver. It is what it is, not for bling or status.
