Great looking vehicle! by JC on 03/09/2013. Owned 1 year.
Pros: I have an 09 Maxima. I LOVE my car! I get compliments on it all the time! It is fun to drive, fast and easy to handle! I had an 08 Maxima until someone hit me, the car did everything it was supposed to do in an almost head on crash. I was very impressed and not hurt at all! I was set on getting another Maxima after that!
Cons: I have not had any problems except that in both of my cars, the original batteries never lasted to the second year.
Overall review: Love it!

23K Maxima S by An MSN Autos Consumer on 11/22/2013. Trim: 2013 Nissan Maxima 3.5 S, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: The price was $23,000.00 for a 2013 Maxima S with a 3.5 VQ engine, sunroof, six cd/mp3 player, dual zone climate control, door sills, dimming rear view mirror, and 18" alloy wheels. Great year end deals with $10,600.00 off of sticker.
Cons: No spoiler, no USB, no 19" wheels.
Overall review: The 290 HP V6 is at 25 mpg after the first tank of gas. Love the black interior and the six CD player.

The Best by Shep from Arkansas on 09/11/2013. Trim: 2013 Nissan Maxima 3.5 S, Owned 1 year.
Pros: I own a 2010 S model with 48,000 miles on it. I bought it new. My best road mileage while driving just under the speed limit is 32.9. This car has more power than any person would want. At first, I wasn't sure about the CVT transmission but I love the three different modes. I prefer the sport mode.
Cons: I had to replace the battery after three years. The original tires (Goodyear) were not the best. I replaced them at 33,000 miles.
Overall review: This is the best car I've ever owned. I don't think anyone could go wrong with the Maxima.

2nd Maxima--probably not my last by GRMJim on 07/24/2013. Trim: 2013 Nissan Maxima 3.5 SV, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Styling is very nice. I am tall 6'2" and I am very comfortable in this car. The engine is strong, the steering tightens up at speed, handling is nice and tight. Like the way the CVT holds its rev when "manually" shifting (sometimes my left foot actually looks for a clutch pedal), Car handled great through a tough NE winter last year with 4 snows(downsized/mounted on seperate rims per Tirerack's rec.) on each corner. Stereo is LOUD :) Don't use backup camera but my wife loves it.
Cons: Panel fit is less than perfect. Side mirrors' control is very difficult to get to and adjust when driving. Manual shifting up and down is counter intuitive, I constantly move the shift lever down for an upshift (think 1-2 or 3-4) and up for a downshift ( think 4-3 or 2-1). This is the single most annoying thing about the car. I get that they have it move lever forward for an upshift and back for a downshift but that is not right to someone who has driven alot of manual shift cars.
Overall review: Nice looking car that is fun to drive, alot of car for the money.
