Pros:
We purchased a 2013 CR-V EX-L and we love everything about it, Honda has improved the CR-V all the way around. Every thing is easy to reach and the ride is very comfortable. The steering is great with the electric steering although I have heard some do not like it but no issues with us. It's everything we wanted in a smaller SUV, well built and the quality shows.
Cons:
No issues at this point as we have only had it for 2 weeks.
Overall review:
If you are looking for a quality well built, practical SUV and something you love to drive do yourself a favor and check out the CR-V.
We looked at other makes and models but came back to the CR-V and we are yet to be disappointed.

Great mpg and good ride!

Pros:
The ride is very smooth and the seats are very comfortable. Even with the sunroof, there is plenty of headroom for myself, as I'm 6' 2" tall. Road and wind noise are a much improved over previous models. This vehicle was designed for using "T" rated tires, which is a plus as T rated tires are slightly less expensive than H or V tires and should give longer treadwear life. The new driver's side mirror contains an integrated convex mirror on a small portion of the left side, which provides a wide-angle view (like that of the passenger side mirror), and the remaining right portion is a regular mirror. The integrated design eliminates having to purchase a "stick-on" type accessory mirror.
Cons:
The only dislike about the CR-V line is that Honda does not offer some options/amenties on the CR-V that you would find on other Honda models (i.e., Accord) or other comparable brands. For example, Honda does not offer a power tailgate on any trim level. Also, unlike our Accord, Honda does not offer the Homelink buttons (to control garage door opener, lights, etc.) on the CR-V. Also absent are separate rear seat heating/cooling vents & controls (like on front dash) so that passengers can control airflow.
Overall review:
Actual mileage has been very good and greater than EPA ratings (23 city/31 hwy). I'm achieving an average of 25 mpg city and 34 mpg highway. I always keep our cars serviced regularly and have achieved over 250,000 miles on every Honda we have owned. We currently have a 1999 Accord with 450,000+ miles and it is still running great. I would highly recommend the Honda brand to anyone looking for a quality automobile. Some others have made comments in their reviews about not getting a good deal or Honda's are higher in cost compared to other brands. However, like the old adage "you get what you pay for". Honda is a great quality vehicle and our family has owned 6 Hondas over the past 20 years and have not had any major problems with any of them.

Pros:
Quality in a small package. Versatile, comfortable, economical, fun to drive.
Cons:
You would think an EX-L would have every available feature. My 07 Camry XLE has a built in button that is a garage door opener, this 2013 CR-V doesn't.
Overall review:
My wife & I and my adult children have 5 Toyotas and 3 Hondas between us. To me, the companies are interchangeable. Quality all around! EX-L worth the extra money.

Pros:
My previous car was a 2007 CR V. While I liked it, overall, I had 3 issues with it: 1) it was noisy, 2) it didn't ride particulaly well and, 3) the AWD system had a noticable lag time before shifting power to the rear wheels. I am pleased to say the Honda engineers have resolved all these issues in the 2013 CR V. This model is a huge improvement over previous ones.
Cons:
Absolutely nothing!
Overall review:
Good job Honda. Before you consider any compact CUV, test drive a CR V...you will be pleasantly surprised, especially if you have not driven one for a while.

Excellent Compact SUV

Pros:
Comfortable and roomy for a compact SUV and a relatively quiet drive. Handles well a with excellent brakes. Acceleration is very good.
Cons:
A bit pricey compared to other SUV's at the same level. But hopefully this will be offset with better reliability and resale value down the road.
Overall review:
Recommended if you are in the market for a compact SUV from a manufacturer noted for quality and reliability.
