The 2012/13 GS is a must-drive if you're in the market for a new car! by JTaucher, OKC, OK on 10/25/2012. Trim: 2013 Buick Regal GS.
Pros: This is a beautiful vehicle inside and out. The handling & performance was superb for its class. On the highway @ 80 in a headwind the noise was minimal. Very refined car. The seats hugged my frame quite well. The pedal response was perfect IMHO. At the low end you could easily go w/o having to engage the turbo, but when you needed (wanted) to go faster, the car was ready and willing.
Cons: I'm 6'4" with big feet so working the pedals on the manual drive was a little tricky. There's not a lot of foot room down there. While the seats were very comfortable and held me in them, they were just a tad small for my wide frame. That's an issue I run into with other cars in this category as well, so no real gain/loss there. The back end looks like it's trying to model the 6-series BMW a bit, but it's a little subdued given the amazing look of the front end.
Overall review: I am in the market for a new car and have test driven the 2013 Fusion Titanium and 2012 Passat (forget the model) so far with plans on testing the 2013 Optima SX, CTS and Altima SL. So far the 2013 Regal GS is at the top of the list by a wide margin. This car is surprisingly fun and comfortable to drive!

Pros: amazing wheels, luxurious interior trim/leather, brembo brake calipers, harmon kardon sound system, intuitive navigation system, superb handling/suspension, turbocharged engine
Cons: gas mileage, though probably a little lower because i drive it pretty aggressively

Pros: It is comfotable the seats are nice it looks great it is practical good with young kids american made beautiful intirior and extirior crazy coler choises my fat aunt can fit in it all my friends love it the coolest car on the block.
Cons: no hate just love!

2011 Buick Regal 2.0 Turbo -- sleeper Euro sports sedan! by LR from WS, NC on 08/13/2012. Trim: 2013 Buick Regal Turbo Premium 3, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Quiet and attractive interior, good handling-vs-comfort mix, upscale Euro vibe and styling, smooth 2.0 turbo motor, runs on regular gas and tires.
Cons: As with most Euro-sedans, it has a few quirks (some non-intuitive controls, seats that may be too firm for some, and less than ideal cupholders).
Overall review: Having previously owned various German and Japanese makes, I can say that this is a standout vehicle and a great value (especially used via CARMAX). Don't let the Buick grille fool you -- this is an award-winning, autobahn-bred Opel Insignia from Germany! From all I've read, the Turbo is the one to get (not the base 2.4-liter). It features a beautiful, aero look that seems very up-to-date. Unlike BMW 3-series, the Regal runs on regular gas and with smoother riding regular tires (NOT run-flats). The interior is far nicer than BMW, while the turbo 2.0 motor has more low-end torque and a broad mid-range power band. It is amazingly quiet as well.While not quite the "driver's car" as is a rear-drive sports sedan, the CXL exhibits no front-drive torque steer and has wonderfully neutral steering and handling. Plus it has many standard features that you would have to pay extra for in other makes, and some that are not even offered elsewhere.

Pros: I have the 2012 GS with 5K on it now. Mines a manual transmission, that really turns this car into a hot rod. Under hard acceleration putting the suspension into GS mode really does cancel torque steer and increase road feel. Even buzzing around the city I'm getting 28MPG on average. Haven't been on the freeways enough to judge highway economy. Only a couple of wish list items 1) a boost guage, 2) an oil pressure guage, 3) rear wheel drive, 4) a coupe. But I knew those were missing when I got it.
Overall review: Easy and fun to drive, great handling and drivetrain. Love the styling and wheels, a real classic slightly understated design. People still approach me and ask if it's a beemer. A very well thought out vehicle thanks to Buick and Opel.
