Performance and style at its best by David P. on 03/30/2013. Trim: 2013 BMW X3 xDrive28i, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Excellent "3 series" feel of driving, handling and acceleration are superb. Great looks and high quality finishing touches expected from BMW's. Great mileage for a cross-over with the eco function being very efficient.
Cons: Although I like the dial style infotainment system, it does take a while to get used to it, it could be a little more user friendly but on the flip side, the capabilities are exceptional. It is a pricey buy for a smaller size SAV but you are paying for performance and great looks, it is a BMW after all. However, after you add some options like premium sound, "M" sports package, winter package like I did, the price really adds up, although I would not have gotten it without them, it looks and feels great.
Overall review: If you can afford it, this car is an absolute must compared to other luxury cross-overs, you will not be dissapointed.

Scary in the corners. by Al in Belgium on 11/12/2013. Trim: 2013 BMW X3 xDrive35i.
Pros: It was a beautiful little SUV with very comfortable seats and nice features.
Cons: Cornering scared us to death. Much more leaning in a corner than our 2003 Grand Cherokee. Felt like it was going to roll over.
Overall review: I drove the BMW X3 in both models and the AUDI Q5. We bought the Volvo XC-60 instead. It just felt better, drove better, and offered more per dollar than either of these two German vehicles. We picked up ours in Germany since we live over here in Europe.
