High Risk if You're on a Budget by An MSN Autos Consumer on 10/20/2012. Trim: 2013 Dodge Dart SE.
Pros: Took a test drive and was fairly impressed. Externally, this is a nice looking car that seems to drive and handle well. The interior material appears acceptable for the car class.
Cons: Reliability is always a big concern and since no specific data is available for this model, you only have history as a guide. (1) First year production of “any” new model car is historically very risky business with high repair and recall rates. (2) This is a Fiat based car. With the exception of the new Fiat 500, Fiat hasn't sold cars in the US in over 30 years. They left because their cars were more unreliable than a Yugo. (3) Chrysler is the producers of a number of vehicles on every “cars to avoid” list... Sebring & Town & Country etc are at the bottom of their class. (4) With the exception of a Viper, I can’t think of one Chrysler built vehicle with a good resale value.
Overall review: I generally liked the car and find it tempting. I find the dash trim a bit tacky however and the long term reliability too high risk for my taste and bank account. Economy doesn’t just mean gas mileage, it also means total cost of ownership and given this vehicles extremely poor pedigree, I consider this a risky purchase until it proves itself otherwise. I’ll likely wait for the face-lifted 2013 Civic or look for at a new Alantra.

Worst Experience Ever !!!!!!! by gatordave641 on 06/23/2013. Trim: 2013 Dodge Dart LIMITED, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: styling and options
Cons: In less than three weeks of ownership the engine is having to be replaced along with the traction control and it has already been in the shop for 8 days and is expected to be there another two weeks. I am contacting a lawyer on monday for either a replacement car or a full refund ..
Overall review: DO NOT buy this car !!!! Dodge and dealership think its perfectly acceptable for a brand new car should have to have its engine replaced after just 1500 miles and that I should just be happy that I have a rental hyundai accent to drive..... Avoid this car at all costs.

Don't Buy Dart by Unhappy owner-Huntsville Texas on 12/10/2012. Trim: 2013 Dodge Dart SE, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Handles very well
Cons: Have had multiple problems with Dart. It has been back for service many times and Dodge can't figure out what is wrong. Have tried to contact regional office to file complaint however dealer is not cooperating.
Overall review: Don't buy a Dart unless you want to be a "guinea pig".

Wait a year or two for the factory to work the bugs out by Don from Wisconsin on 01/20/2013. Trim: 2013 Dodge Dart LIMITED, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Acceleration, handling, fuel mileage
Cons: Seat comfort, small console, auto dimming rear view mirror
Overall review: I ordered my Dart Limited with the 1.4 turbo and 6 speed dual dry clutch auto. The car was checked by Quailty Control at the factory before it shipped per sticker left on window. That guy should be fired. Upon delivery, the front end was way out of alignment, rattles in the back dash due to factory sub woofer being installed on the back deck, cant have any bass on the system without it rattling. Had to have transmission ripped out of the car at 3000 miles due to recall on slave cylinder, a lot of intermittant electrical issues, radio crashing, clunking in front end when under 20 degrees outside, there is some kind of seals underneath that need replacing but no parts available. Faulty fuel gauge. The fuel mileage though is great! The looks are great!! I think the car will be fine in a few years once the bugs are worked out of it. Chrysler is offering me a trade assistance package because of all the issues. Will see what happens once I get the numbers from them..
