Pros:
I bought the 2013 V6 A8L in November, moving from an 08 BMW 750LI and before that an 03 Mercedes S430. After two months of frequent driving, I am extremely pleased with this car. It is a beautiful car and the fit and finish is amazing. The MMI system is easy to learn and use and the interior is roomy and comfortable. The dynamic mode makes for a tight spirited driving experience and I while the interior is whisper quiet, you still can sense the road and feel the engine in a a way that I think only German cars can pull off successfully. The dynamic cruise control works very well as does the lane departure warning and on snow and ice, the all wheel drive is rock solid.
Cons:
The only negatives to date is that the trunk is quite a bit smaller than my 7 Series and the center console could also use a bit more storage. So far, I've been able to live with both shortfalls without too much trouble.

A8L stretch version

Pros:
Overall styling, fit and finish are outstanding. All-wheel drive is good in foul weather. Very secure handling. Terrific technology -- is a T-mobile hot spot for internet (passengers can go on-line), satellite radio, safety features (lane warning, side view mirror warning lights, etc). Makes a super travel car on the road, comfortable to drive long hauls.
Cons:
The 8-speed automatic transmission is great for gas mileage, but makes the car a bit slow in accelerating from a start. Gas mileage around town is only about 14mpg. Great on the road, though (28mpg).
Overall review:
Getting so used to driving this car, that having to drive anything less is a disappointment. Best car value out there, in my opinion.
