Impala by carfreakfromla on 11/04/2012. Trim: 2013 Chevrolet Impala LTZ.

Pros: Wheels, Pretty good power
Cons: All models have only one chioce of engine. Transmission is very slow. Leather seats are hard.
Overall review: Great long distance car, looks pretty good, has a nice ride on the freeway, doesn't handle very good-sways a lot, and the transmission is extremely slow. There is definantly a good amount of shift lag. It also has pretty good power. The leather seats are killer on long distance drives so i would recommend the LT for long distance traveling.

Love the Impala by An MSN Autos Consumer on 09/08/2012. Trim: 2013 Chevrolet Impala LTZ, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: The 300 HP motor 6 speed transmisson and I like the shifter paddles for manual shifting on the steering wheel , The trunk space is huge and the rear seats fold down for making 6 ft of storage , Bose stereo is clear and crisp and loud if needed I bought the LTZ and the leather is very nice and comfortable ,remote starter is nice to run and cool down before sitting in the car .. The car is clean and sporty something with room and comfort I wanted power and fuel efficency it has lots of that on tap . I pulled the pinstripe off the sides my pick Artic white . The handling is great the ride is smooth and comfortable this car was made for a long drive if you need to go across states ..
Cons: The body styling is ok I like it I don't love it , The tires are going to be expensive to eventually replace 235/50ZR18
Overall review: I wanted a sporty family car with room and power I looked at the malibu it has a 4 cylinder I know a V-6 is going to last longer than a 4 cylinder pulling all that weight of these cars for longevitey .. I liked the gadgets in the malibu the camera and electronics I didn't like the weak motor .. The Impala has tons of power gets 30 MPG when driven gently and it has a nice clean interior that makes you feel good luxury . The ride is really nice and quiet it takes rough roads like a champ and it can corner like it's glued to the road .I love the car and appreciate the field of view it has to offer the only spot lacking is the back window . I can't hear the car running when idle when you step harder into the gas though she will let you know it's there and ready to pass the majority .. remember a 2005 mustang V-8 is 300 hp and the six speed transmisson really scoots in the impala with it's 300 HP ..

An amazing value by Jim from Wis on 05/18/2013. Trim: 2013 Chevrolet Impala LT, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: This car has been trouble free since day one. No squeeks or rattles. The new v-6 is quiet and powerful. Tons of trunk space. You could use it as a truck with the rear seats folded down. Gas mileage is 30+ on the highway. My average is 25 which is good. The engine has a raspy sound when you start off to remind you that there is something special under the hood. The engine more than makes up for the interior gadget sparsness. The 300 hp v-6 has GDI, DOHC, VVT, DI. I used to have a 303 hp v-8 in a Grand Prix, and this thing easliy smokes it from 40 -80 mph, which is the most important range for passing. And zero torque steer makes it easy to control at wot.
Cons: Seats are a little flat and unsupportive. Spartan interior and lack of gadgets may turn off tech gadget geeks. Back seat room is lacking.
Overall review: A great car overall for someone that is looking for a reliable daily driver, who doesn't feel the need to impress. The smoothness and responsiveness of the v-6 is truly amazing. Definately not a grandpas car anymore.
