The Cadillac XTS-L by Ericthecarnut on 05/25/2012.
25
Pros: Cadillac's reputation as the builder of large luxury automobiles is legendary. It was their styling, performance, reliability and SIZE that put them on top. However, starting in the mid 80's Cadillac started to downsize. With the discontinuation of the rear wheel drive Fleetwoods in the 90's, the largest Cadillac became the DTS. The DTS fell far 'short' of other luxury brands like BMW 750Li, Audi A8L and Lexus 460L. Cadillac can once again join the top contenders in the Large Luxury car market, if they offer an XTS - L.
Cons: Need to offer an 'L' for more rear leg room.
Overall review: Cadillac can be #1 again with the XTS, if they offer the car in lengthened platform.

Great vehicle and will be a good competitor against the other luxury cars. by Rich from CT on 09/09/2012. Trim: 2013 Cadillac XTS Luxury AWD, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: Last year I looked at the CTX and was not interested in it due to their being no rear seat room. Then the XTS came out and it was perfect for my needs. I am 6'1 and I fit fine in the back seat behind the drivers seat which was already adjusted to my big size. The ride is excellent and I was impressed with the noise level. Being a techie, the Que system was a breeze for me. So far I have had zero issues with this car. This car would be very confusing for senior citizens who are not computer literate.
Cons: The biggest issue I have, is not having an active accessory port with the car turned off. I would always leave my cellphone charging in the car, I was shocked the 12V port was dead. Speaking of the iPad, good idea but giving some an iPad with no 3G makes it a paper weight outside of your house. Plus, GM already registers the iPad under a GM google account. So you must re-register it under your your name, delete and then re-install the three GM applications that come with the iPad. Again, for someone not computer literate, they would be clueless. The multifunction center bar switch on each side of the steering wheel is not explained well in the manual, however the video explains it well.
Overall review: This car has turned a lot of eyes since I purchased it 4 weeks ago. I personally would take this over a BMW never second guessing my decision. People will be surprised how nice this car is once they take a test drive.
