Horribly Disappointed by Buddy on 02/06/2013. Trim: 2013 Cadillac XTS Premium, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Looks nice
Cons: Seats are difficult to adjust, front seats are different size than other caddys. Acceleration is ok, but you know and feel that the engine is working hard. Grille is garbage, silver plastic, horrible for a nearly 60 K car. Cue system is difficult to use, sometimes it is non-responsive, and having problems, and then after 5 or 6 tries the system recognizes what you are asking.

Really does not live up to expectations! by Pat on 05/10/2013. Trim: 2013 Cadillac XTS Premium, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Sharp looking, and better pep than I thought the 6 cyl would have.
Cons: Inferior quality, front grill is cheap, seats are hard to adjust to be comfortable, no choice of alternate wheels is offered, CUE system is not reliable and consistent, Bluetooth is not reliable, and the systems constantly need updating - which is like recalls. The car has had about 16 updates, and you have to go back to the dealer for the updating.
Overall review: This car is a big disappointment for a person who has owned 5 or 6 previous classy caddys. It is not worth the money, not nearly as good as the Deville or the DTS, but cheaper like the ATS and CTS.

The Cadillac XTS-L by Ericthecarnut on 05/25/2012. Trim: 2013 Cadillac XTS.
Pros: Cadillac's reputation as the builder of large luxury automobiles is legendary. It was their styling, performance, reliability and SIZE that put them on top. However, starting in the mid 80's Cadillac started to downsize. With the discontinuation of the rear wheel drive Fleetwoods in the 90's, the largest Cadillac became the DTS. The DTS fell far 'short' of other luxury brands like BMW 750Li, Audi A8L and Lexus 460L. Cadillac can once again join the top contenders in the Large Luxury car market, if they offer an XTS - L.
Cons: Need to offer an 'L' for more rear leg room.
Overall review: Cadillac can be #1 again with the XTS, if they offer the car in lengthened platform.

Not what I expected by Marc from Mercer Island on 07/29/2012. Trim: 2013 Cadillac XTS.
Pros: Style and some technology additions. I liked the lane warning system with the vibrating seat.
Cons: I was disappointed in the ride. I drive a Lexus LS 460L and the ride does not begin to compare with my car. Also, I found the voice activation system in the XTS rather coarse in sound compared to others. The program had difficulty interpreting my commands. Acceleration seemed to be slow or delayed when pressed to full throttle.
Overall review: Since I was a former Cadillac owner and since my grandfather always drove Cadillacs, I was excited to test the XTS; however, I was disappointed in the ride, power and some of the technical innovations. Other innovations, particularly the safety features, were quite important and clearly points of progress. I love the style both interior and exterior.
