A Privilege to Own and Drive by MOG on 05/30/2012. Trim: 2012 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe, Owned 1 year.

Pros: Nearly everything. Best-looking car on sale today. Craftsmanship and attention to detail that puts almost everything else to shame. Everything that looks like metal IS metal -- no fakery. Beautifully balanced handling, excellent steering feel. Genuinely fast, fantastic sound. Superb manual gearbox. Extremely strong and rigid structure. Excellent build quality and top-quality materials, and trouble-free so far. A truly great drive.

Cons: Very little. The navigation system isn't great. The throttle response just off idle is poor.

Overall review: It's a genuinely great driver's car and a very special experience -- a true "event" car. Everything I hoped it would be, and my expectations were very high.

Pros: It's built to a very high standard and it the best looking car on the road by far.

Cons: It's expensive
