Pros:
BMW ride and handling. You don't know your driving a SUV, feels like a sports car. And you get a great view of the road with the higher seating position. Interior is top notch - get the premium package to upgrade to leather, moon roof, wood trim, etc. I've gotten 30mpg on the highway, generally mid 20's around town, which is higher than rating estimates.
Cons:
We didn't have enough snow this winter to really check out the all wheel drive.

Pros:
powerful, agile, great looks, comfortable, compact yet roomy, fantastic sunroof. Love the bluetooth functionality.
Cons:
Average 22 mpg on premium, complicated electronic controls, still trying to check the oil level. Dealer should offer a class on using the controller. 8 speed transmission is allways shifting. Wish they offered a stick shift.
Overall review:
Great BMW quality and handling, just right size. I'm likely to keep it 8 years. Will probably figure out the computer after 4 or 5 years.

Pros:
The handling is incredible, feels as if you are driving a sedan. I am currently driving the 28i and it has some surprising burst. I am not accustomed to a 4 cylinder having 240 horsepower but it does and the MPG is better than expected. Drove in economy pro setting and still got 26 MPG despite start and stops.
Cons:
Need some snow to test its all wheel drive capability and some time off to enjoy on the highway.

I highly recommend this SAV.
