Makes me look like Montoya
by An MSN Autos Consumer on 05/29/2005.

Pros:
I love the fact that this was a race car before it was a street car. The car handles amazingly considering its 15 years old. The engine once you get it spun up screams an angry howl. A real "wolf in wolf's clothing"
Cons:
Parts are expensive, and not just anyone can work on these, take it to a specialist. If you want any of the Evo 3 parts prepare to spend several thousand to get them all.
Overall review:
This was a car I had wanted since I was 12 years old. Took over 2 years of searching to find a good example of it. Don't buy this car if you looking to do the quarter mile. Buy it if you can appreciate a high strung corner carver.

The Ultimate Driving Machine
by Phillip from Spartanburg, SC on 01/01/2002.
Trim: 1990 BMW M3 Sedan, Owned 1 year.

Pros:
The styling is radical, especially for a BMW. I drive down the street and people look at me and wonder if I'm driving a spaceship. They look as if they know it's a BMW, but they look twice to make sure. The acceleration is good. It's perfect for a street car, because you really don't need to floor it when driving around. The suspension is stiff, which makes cornering really fun!!! The seats are comfortable, especially for a 6'2" 250 lb guy.
Cons:
The electrical system isn't up to par with the rest of the car, which was typical with all E30 models. But it's not a real big deal, at least not to me. The car is such a joy to drive that you tend to overlook the little things that you don't like.
Overall review:
This is a great car. It's fast, nimble, good looking, and fun to drive. What more could you want from a sports car.

BMW E30 M3
by Peter from Seattle on 06/02/2001.
Trim: 1990 BMW M3 Sedan, Owned 7 years.

Pros:
A true sports car with a back seat and trunk if needed.
Cons:
Do not buy this car if you are looking for effortless pleasure. This car was produced first for racing and then modified for street use. It requiers a firm commitment to own and maintain. This is opposite of the E36 M3's.
Overall review:
Excellent car for the dedicated individule.
