Excellent overall package! by Long commute! West Palm Beach, FL on 08/05/2012. Trim: 2012 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Sport Limited, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Great handling, strong brakes, excellent visibility...excellent overall value for the money.
Cons: Noise at highway speeds, but not too bad...after years of driving only Lexus cars, any car seems noisy.
Overall review: With 148hp it feels a little underpowered, but this car is not about power, it's about fuel economy and practicality, and in that regard it dellivers like any other car I had tested. I looked for months, and test drove Civic, Elantra, Focus, Lexus CT200h (way overpriced!) and many others, and even though all these are very fine cars, the only car that had all the features to fit my lifestyle was the Subaru! Tough to beat, and did I mention that it has standard awd?

subie 5 door by tom on 03/07/2012. Trim: 2012 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Premium 5-Door, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Nice vehicle overall, awd gets me where i want to go with out the fuel milage penalty.
Cons: A little more road noise than i am used to and the hands free bluetooth suffers because of increased noise at highway speeds, otherwise i really like this car.
Overall review: great little car,i would recomend it for almost anyone!

Flexibility and Style! by Vance on 08/30/2012. Trim: 2012 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Sport Premium, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Great balance between looks, economy, performance (awd) and mpg. This is my first Subaru and I am sold!
Cons: Road noise is a consideration.
Overall review: I really like the way the car handles on the road. It's just fun to drive. Great commuter and weekend wanderer. I bought the Premium Sport with the all-weather package. This car can be dressed up for a date or throw a bicycle on top with your camping gear; very versatile. Also, after shopping for Hondas, Toyotas and Nissans, I found the sales experience with Subaru staff educational, thoughtful, and without pressure. It was the best of both world's for me.

Safest Quality Car by An MSN Autos Consumer on 07/07/2012. Trim: 2012 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Limited 4-Door, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Handling is great. The all wheel drive may have saved my life during a rain storm!
Cons: All wheel drive reduces milage by 1 or 2 MPG. Thats O.K. because I look at it as an insurance policy.
Overall review: Subaru builds the highest quality vehicle. The all wheel drive, and boxer engine make it a thrill to drive on any roads. Even safer in the winter, or wet weather.

Allot of Bang for the Buck by TJ on 03/02/2012. Trim: 2012 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Sport Premium, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: The overall build quality of this car is very good. The ergonomics and overall feel of the car is top notch. The CVT transmission is smooth and seems to find the right power band of the engine without a fuss. The paddle shift manual mode on the CVT adds some getup and go and excitment the otherwise lack luster 148HP performance. The interior and trunk room is substantial for a small car. The car has excellent visablity. The chassis dynamics are predictable and the steering characteristics including feedback is the best I have ever used. The all wheel drive just works, no messing around. The styling is slick and the 17" alloys really fill it all out.
Cons: Road noise is high on ruff highway surfaces. The engine lacks power and the acceleration is not impressive from a stand still, although once underway or at high speed the cars power and performance is good enough for a small car. Sometimes the transmission will find itself in the wrong ratio when driving in town and being easy on the gas pedal, it upshifts too soon but a slight push on the gas pedal and the CVT finds the correct ratio. The sound system/stereo is second rate and the display should be back in 1990, they really dropped the ball on this part.
Overall review: The Impreza Sport is a well built, stylish, safe and capable package for the price point. The performance is lacking from a stickly off the line stand point but the car makes up for this with its paddle shift CVT, incredible handling, top notch traction and stability. So far so good. PS If you want to get the claimed 45 miles per gallon (imp) highway keep it at 100 klm/hr. I average 35 mp/gal still not bad at 120-130 klm per hour and all wheel drive.
