Excellent overall package! by Long commute! West Palm Beach, FL on 08/05/2012. Trim: 2012 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Sport Limited, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: Great handling, strong brakes, excellent visibility...excellent overall value for the money.
Cons: Noise at highway speeds, but not too bad...after years of driving only Lexus cars, any car seems noisy.
Overall review: With 148hp it feels a little underpowered, but this car is not about power, it's about fuel economy and practicality, and in that regard it dellivers like any other car I had tested. I looked for months, and test drove Civic, Elantra, Focus, Lexus CT200h (way overpriced!) and many others, and even though all these are very fine cars, the only car that had all the features to fit my lifestyle was the Subaru! Tough to beat, and did I mention that it has standard awd?

Pros: Nice vehicle overall, awd gets me where i want to go with out the fuel milage penalty.
Cons: A little more road noise than i am used to and the hands free bluetooth suffers because of increased noise at highway speeds, otherwise i really like this car.
Overall review: great little car,i would recomend it for almost anyone!

Flexibility and Style! by Vance on 08/30/2012. Trim: 2012 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Sport Premium, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: Great balance between looks, economy, performance (awd) and mpg. This is my first Subaru and I am sold!
Cons: Road noise is a consideration.
Overall review: I really like the way the car handles on the road. It's just fun to drive. Great commuter and weekend wanderer. I bought the Premium Sport with the all-weather package. This car can be dressed up for a date or throw a bicycle on top with your camping gear; very versatile. Also, after shopping for Hondas, Toyotas and Nissans, I found the sales experience with Subaru staff educational, thoughtful, and without pressure. It was the best of both world's for me.

Very happy owner by Kelley on 02/29/2012. Trim: 2012 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Premium 5-Door, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: I traded a 2002 Acura MDX with 182,000 miles on it for this vehicle. I'll admit that I was very spoiled with the smooth, quiet ride and power of the Acura, but I wanted smaller and needed better gas mileage. Admittedly a very picky car purchaser, I tried everything-literally- and kept coming back to Subaru. With my first 2000 miles I will say that I'm extremely happy. In town it can't be beat. It's peppy, great turn radius and gets an average of 32 mpg. I intentionally bought white with light leather interior which I'm sure will help me with the summer heat. I would recommend tinting the windows to help with heat and it gives it a great, sporty look.
Cons: The bluetooth sound system is not clear enough to be heard during higher driving speeds. I keep having to return to the headset so that I can be heard. I'm not sure if it's the road noise or just the speakers and receptors on the system. I also wish that they would have used similar seats to the Legacy. The seats are rather stiff, even with upgraded leather.
Overall review: I'm very satisfied with the overall purchase of the Impreza. I love the hatchback for it's adaptability, and will never go back to any type of sedan. I do miss my previous SUV because of the size difference and quiet ride at higher speeds, but definitely not when I pull into the gas station.

My choice above all others by Apopkamike Apopka, FL on 12/28/2011. Trim: 2012 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Premium 4-Door, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: 2012 4dr Prem owned for 10 days. Great looks, fit and finish, nice wheels and wide tires, interior layout, AWD, handling, good power from a samll 2.0 eng and good MPG (33 ave city/hwy act) and fun to drive. They did a great job of matching the eng size to that of the car, so you get all the power you need but none you don't. If I were 24 instead of 64 I would have gone for the WRX. The controls are easy to reach. the audio that comes standard is fine for me but I'm sure others my opt for the up-grade. Subaru also has a great service plan. Every dealer is different but in this area this one treated me the best. This is a great to and from work car.
Cons: Interior is snug for a person driving that is over 6ft, but still not bad enough for me to have decided against the Impreza. Like all small cars it does not ride or have the power like my very large F-150 or my Chevy 2500. They say it seats 5 but that will never happen. The seats could be larger but then again maybe I sould be samller. If I had more $$ and did not want the higher MPG I would have gone for the Outback or Forester.
Overall review: I went from a loaded F-150 that got 17 mpg max to this auto so some of my thoughts could be swayed one way or the other. When compared to other autos in the $18 to $24K price range it rates far above the rest. It holds the corners. Gets 33MPG ave city/hwy. and looks great. I have looked at everything and it came down to the VW Golf or the Subrau. The Subaru Impreza had rhe best specs and they made me the best offer. Since you may not have many Subaru dealers in your area you probably won't have lots of choices when it comes to the new Impreza. Here in Florida most have only handful on the lot, maybe 2 or 3 of each style. Because of this the dealer won't be cutting thousands off the price like a Chevy, Ford or Toyota. You may not see another Impreza like yours on the road for some time after you get it. So far this 2012 Subaru Impreza is worth it.
