Cause it's never been in a hole it couldn't get out of! by Brian R. from Montreal (Quebec, Canada) on 06/25/2012. Trim: 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: I love the new powerplant and interior from the '12 edition. The new 3.6L Pentastar engine is awesome! Actually, I waited a whole year to buy a Wrangler because in early 2011, someone told me that Jeep was releasing a better engine to replace the old faithful 3.8L engine. The new pentastar gives the driver a better experience on the highway for better accelaration, even if the Jeep got the aerodynamics of a brick! On trails, the 3.72 gear (on Sahara) is WAY ENOUGH to get out of the most difficult situations. Also, ride handling is pretty good. This truck gives you the best driving experience for summer (Top off) and Winter (Hard top). Interior finish i've been redone and it's really tight!
Cons: Back seats doesn't adjust for passengers. It's straight as a "L". It only bend down towards the front, to make room for trunk area but cannot bend the other way for passengers. It's ok for a short drive (less than an hour), but for longer than that and for passengers taller than 6'0" feet, it's pretty unconfortable... Soft top windows are still made of a plastic which can be scratched. At the era of unscratchable iPhone plastics, I assume they could have choose better kind of material which cannot be scratched easily.
Overall review: ALL IN ALL... This 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara is the BEST TRUCK I HAVE EVER BOUGHT! I'm always happy to take a spin with it and go on a long trip, top down! It relax you so much to have the sunlight and wind calming you down after a tough day of work... Brings a smile to my face everytime! :) Buying a Jeep is a way of life... You like it or you don't, but you can not remain indifferent...

Love my 2012 4 door Sahara. by New Mexico on 07/09/2012. Trim: 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: The engine. Has way more power then my 2008 rubicon. The 2012 interior is a lot better also.
Cons: There isn't any handles to pull yourself in. I added handles that velcro to the roll bar, that helps.
Overall review: I love this jeep. The new engine is a great improvement over my 2008 Rubicon. Would recommend it to anyone who likes jeeps and the off road experience.

Great Jeep! by JTJ247 from Central Jersey on 06/22/2012. Trim: 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sport, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Great engine Love the UConnect Topless cruising Suprising smooth ride 6 Speed Manual
Cons: None at the moment
Overall review: First Jeep, I came from a Honda Accord sedan. While that was itself a very good car it did not put the smile the Jeep puts on my face each time I drive it!!! Always wanted one and the new Pentastar made me pull the trigger. Got a 2012 Black Sport with the S Package, Power Group, UConnect and side steps, 6 Speed Manual. Love the topless cruising!

Rough, Rugged & Comfortable Wrangler by Hoosier Jeep lover on 01/17/2012. Trim: 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Fit and Finish is much better than past Wrangler's. The new 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 has great acceleration. Improved quietness and ride.
Cons: None so far.
Overall review: I traded in a 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited on a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara. There is a big difference between these vehicles in just 6 years. Engine horsepower went from 190 to 285 while improving the gas mileage. The 2012 has bells and whistles that weren't even available on the 2006 model. I have owned 4 Wranglers and continue to be pleased by the constant upgrading of these vehicles. Jeeps have always been fun to drive but now they are much more comfortable when using as an everyday vehicle. I was sceptical about the big changes in management in the Chrysler corporation, but have heard alot of good news about Fiat's wanting to concentrate on building higher quality vehicles and building major checkpoints into the production line to make that happen. Jeeps have always been rugged, versatile and reliable, now they are built with higher quality and are so much more comfortable. If you haven't checked out a Wrangler for a while, go check one out, you'll be amazed!
