Better than you think
by Frank on 05/05/2012.
Trim: 2012 Scion xB 5-Door Wagon 4-Spd AT, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
Interior room better than we expected, MPG is much better than advertized.
Fun to drive, lots of power when you need it.
Colors available are odd, had to go with black.
Cons:
No variable pulse wipers, rear wiper only cleans part of the huge rear glass.
Overall review:
Lots of car for the money spent, safety equipment is impressive. Good vehicle for Boomers too. Easy in and out, good for hauling adults.

Pros:
I was getting about 21 mpg in city driving stoping and starting.. I took a 50 mile road trip and got 33 mpg highway drving. Car is very well put together and holds its value well. You get a lot for your money and don't have to barter the price. Legendary Toyota quality.
Cons:
city drving=only about 21 mpg so far. Bluetooth will not stay paired with my smart phone.
Overall review:
I would reccomend this car to anyone.

Great value for the price.

Useful?
Pros:
Price, gas mileage, comfort, safety, price not in any particular order. Fun to drive, quiet, great pick up, very good turn radius, holds the road in heavy rain. Easy in and out, plus lots of room for passengers and if I lay the seats down, plenty of room for hauling whatever. Love this car. Time will tell, but expect great reliability too.
Cons:
So far I have zero negative comments.
Overall review:
My advice: At least give this car a try, I looked at the Xb 4 yrs ago but got side-tracked. When it was time to look again, I went straight to Scion and was once again impressed, this time I brought it home. So far love it, have had it about 6 weeks and driven a couple thousand miles including a long one day road trip. I don't know how you could get more for your money. A perfect little SUV, but the term little is deceiving, the car has tons of room.

A quirky car that you will love...or hate
by LilCera on 02/14/2013.
Owned 1 year.
Useful?
Pros:
This is my first Scion and I absolutely love it. Then again, its a car that you either love it or love to hate it. The odd color choices only add to the vehicle's quirky charm in my opinion. The handling is surprising for a vehicle of such size. Highway gas mileage is actually not bad although mixed driving really takes it out (gas that is).
Cons:
I agree that there should be more cup holders and they should be a little better placed. I also hate that the docks for iPod and MP3 players are kind of hidden in the armrest and really not convenient to get to. City driving gobbles up the gas but it does make up for it on long highways.
Overall review:
I still love it, despite its flaws. Nothing is perfect but this car fits my style and tastes to a T. I would buy another one. Scion has gained a loyal customer.
