Great Deal with Anniversary Package by mwebber78 on 02/21/2012. Trim: 2012 Nissan Altima 2.5 S Sedan, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: The 20th Anniversary Package is a great deal - alloys, foglights, rear spoiler, leather wrapped steering wheel w/BlueTooth, auto-dim mirrors, etc... I really like the LED underside lights that activate when the unlock button is engaged at dark, it lights the entry on the passenger and drivers side sill. The car drives with a sporty nature and the engine, despite being a 4-cylinder, is smooth with linear power delivery. The car is tight, body gaps are small and the materials are well done. This is my families 3rd Altima lease - a 2005, 2010, and this 2012. All of the previous cars have been trouble free with zero warranty issues.
Cons: The only downside to the 20th Anniversary Package is that you can't combine it with the package that has the automatic climate control and power seats.
Overall review: For the money, the car is a deal (especially on a lease!). The Altima has tons of standard safety features like a 5-Star crash rating, EBD brakes, traction/anti-skid, easy to use LATCH (wife appreciates that) for car seats, and side impact and curtian airbags. The CVT delivers power in a smooth manner and while it take a little bit to get use to you'll appreciate the lack of a distinct "jerk" when the car shifts. The manual shifting mode is fun and useful in the hills for downshifting.

Excellent automobile by Jeffrey G from Las Vegas on 09/28/2011. Trim: 2012 Nissan Altima 3.5 SR Sedan, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Interior design, pretty fast for a 4 door family car. Bluetooth, leather, keyless entry and ignition, HID headlights etc. CVT transmission needed a couple days to get used to, but is preferred than a geared transmission. The manual shifting has a quick feel and is accurate. The CVT tranny at full throttle puts the engine right at the 6k powerband and it stays there till top speed. Well made with quality parts. Nissan put a lot of consideration into the safety features such as curtain airbags and side seat airbags that protect the lower torso area. Even the headrest will come forward to help prevent whiplash in certain collisions.
Cons: Coming out of a Cadillac into this car may not be fair but the road noise and feel of evey bump and road irregularity was the first thing I noticed. The handling and control are fine though.
Overall review: Totally happy with this car, I recommend the Altima 3.5 well over the ~100 HP less 2.5 version as the latter feels sluggish and tiring while getting to speed on an entrance ramp. By the way, the Altima is 60% American....more than some GM cars.

2012 Nissan Altima by E from LI, NY on 01/03/2012. Trim: 2012 Nissan Altima 2.5 Sedan, Owned 1 year.
Pros: I love the 2012 Altima. I had the 2006, then the 2009 prior to the 2012. Push button ignition is great. Getting out of the car with a coffee in one hand and an umbrella in the other, and not needing any keys -- just my thumb -- to lock the car is a huge plus. Excellent acceleration. Easily pass most cars/trucks on the highway. Deep cup holders for your extra-large morning coffee. Fun to drive.
Cons: Gas mileage could be better. I get 20-21 MPG local; 29-30 highway, which is the same I was getting on the 2009. I don't like the sliding center arm-rest.
Overall review: This is my third Altima. Great, dependable cars. Good handling, and comfortable on long drives.
