Good, could be so much better. by Mike from NYC on 10/20/2012. Trim: 2012 GMC Yukon Denali AWD, Owned less than 1 year.
Useful?
Pros: Interior space, 6.2L V8, All wheel drive
Cons: Exterior size, lack of luxury features, stability
Overall review: The Denali is a love/hate vehicle for me. I love the space inside, but I hate the exterior size. I love the drivetrain, but I hate the suspension. The truck drives like a bus. It leans in turns, and the steering is ridiculously light and vague. The brakes are weak. GM has big Brembos sitting in their warehouses. Why not give them to the Denali and Escalade? Where are my HID headlights and LED tails GM? $60k for a truck and you get antiquated halogen lights? And why does the Escalade get a superior Navigation system, but the rest of the GMT900s don't? The engine has good power, for what it is, but I want more. Its weak at low rpms. The LSA from the CTS-V would make this truck so much better. And please, please, lower it a few inches. Its totally unstable when driving it normally, forget driving aggressively. The seats don't hold you at all. The front row is at least comfortable. The 2nd and third rows sure aren't. 3rd row has no leg room either. Why bother? Make it an option.

"Americans like big cars" by Captsal from Long Island to the Adirondacks on 10/10/2012. Trim: 2012 GMC Yukon Denali AWD, Owned less than 1 year.
Useful?
Pros: Size, comfort, power, good acceleration and braking. Ride is firm, stable and responsive. Best new features are the blind spot signal; very usefull. Also GM Navigation system is best I've used in various other cars, including top of the line german ones.
Cons: Road noise in cabin too loud, engine noise roars when eccelerating, add some sound deadening, Second row seating leg room poor for adults, could use four more inches between front seat backs and second row seat. Should be adjustable to allow for added cargo roomn when not carrying passengers. Rear seats that folded level with floor would be nice, but not at the expense of less road clearance or raising body.
Overall review: Tried downsizing to cadilac SRX and was very disaponted after driving Yukons.

"Only 1 SUV Made...GMC Denali" by Mike from Danville Kentucky on 08/21/2012. Trim: 2012 GMC Yukon Denali AWD, Owned 1 year.
Useful?
Pros: Best SUV I've owned...we have had several Jeeps, Overland models, and then we bought a 2007 Yukon Denali because of the third row seating which we needed for the grandchildren we were suprised. We like the room, the ride is excellent considering it's built on a truck chassie. It's very quiet and has every conceivable option, when we were going to buy a newer model we looked at the Cadillac version but ended up buying another 2011 Denali.
Cons: Rear seats could use a little more leg room for adults...but there fine for kids...
Overall review: Excellent
