Pros:
As one of the only 6 passengers vehicles out there I would like to call this a micro van. It is no sedan and not wagon or a SUV, Cross overs are big and When I parked next to a honda van it was overall a little smaller than this vehicle. Over all a love this car because of the 2nd row captain's chairs and the visual all around you when you drive.
Cons:
Then engine does not zoom zoom like the other mazdas but what it lacks in performance, it gains in overall family design.
Overall review:
I like the rear A/C Blower and the flat third row and yes you can fit car seats and a booster seat back there with now problem.

Fun to drive, simple and logical controls
Cons:
driving seat a bit cramped at 6'1"

Great value. Enough room for family of 4, can carry 6 when needed. Third row is small but useable for short trips.

Pros:
Sporty, sliding doors, practical, leather
Cons:
Could be a little peppier - like to see the skyactive technology in this car. Miss having a center console to place things. A better functional space to put the ipod would be helpful.
Overall review:
Sporty and fun to drive yet practical with the sliding doors. Great alternative to a small/midsize SUV. The captains chairs are great, no fighting over the middle seat. The kids love it. Good driving position! Highly recommend!

great microvan,easy to drive .Sometimes feels like a sports car. Around town easily gets 25 MPG

Pros:
I purchased this vehicle about a month ago. I have put 2,500 miles on it and averaged 29.6 mpg driving interstate speed limits. I bought this for a second car but I have changed my mind since I drove it on a recent road trip around 1,600 miles. I like almost everything about it but it could use a little more power. I was surprised at the great handling and decent ride . I am handicapped with back problems and have a hard time entering and exiting most vehicles, the Mazda5 is the easiest and most comfortable vehicle I have owned. I highly recommend it.
Cons:
Could use a little more power.
