We got a lot of car for our money by Ron on 03/24/2012. Trim: 2011 Dodge Journey Crew, Owned 1 year.
3
Pros: We have it for 3 months now. V6 3.6L has more than enough power for a car like this, much better than the 2.4 we test drove. My wife loves the option of remote start when it is cold. I am glad we went with a new 2011 and not a used 2009 or 2010. The '11 and '12 model has many upgrades such as bigger brakes, better engine and much better interior. Love the 3rd row seating. Ice boxes in floor behind seats, who cares about a glove box cooler. Cargo space when both 3rd and 2nd row seats are down.
Cons: The headrest are bit annoying on third row seating but I am used to seeing nothing over my right shoulder anyway, simply added a $5.95 blind corner mirror and problem was solved.
Overall review: see above

Best choice for me by Penny-San Diego, CA on 10/25/2011. Trim: 2011 Dodge Journey Express, Owned less than 1 year.
1
Pros: Quiet ride, feels almost sporty. Handles well, even on wet roads. Love the touch screen and the Uconnect. Seats are comfy, especially on my bad back. LOVE the fact that the rear view mirror automatically turns to a night vision mirror while driving at night.
Cons: Rear headrests block visibilty. Console in between seats on the small side. Not crazy about all the handles needed to put the seats down, or pull them back up.
Overall review: I drove a Dodge Grand Caravan for 15 years, so moving into this smaller vehicle was like culture shock. I've only had this vehicle for about 4 months, but I really like it. The REAL test will be a long road trip. Overall, I believe we made a wise choice in choosing this vehicle.

A Keeper! by An MSN Autos Consumer on 10/16/2011. Trim: 2011 Dodge Journey Mainstreet, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: Keyless entry is great-no fumbling around in the purse anymore. The styling is nice in general, and we don't care about the 3rd row being small as our kids are grown now. My 16 year old is 6'5" tall and he feels this is one of the better fits both in the driver seat and even the 2nd row. We have the park assist for backing up and I love that living on a cul-de-sac with small kids. The coolers in the 2nd row are nice as an option and I like having the passenger seat flip up for storage. Gas mileage has been better than advertised with regular gas-not much to brag about with ethanol.
Cons: The handling is a little different- it tracks well enough, but has more of a tendency to "wander" if you are not actively steering. Nowhere to set my purse when driving a passenger-I just throw it on the back seat.
Overall review: Overall, for the money, I would say this vehicle is functional and fun to drive. We can pull our boat and jetski with it, so that was an important consideration. Had to have a powertrain to handle that and still get decent gas mileage. This engine gets good reviews from mechanics so that gives me peace of mind.

ultimate smaller suv by carhappy texas on 09/01/2011. Trim: 2011 Dodge Journey R/T, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: the storage compartments are the best, love how you can cool drinks. the adjustabilty in the driver seat, every thing is at your fingur tips. the raido works in the steering wheel so you can keep your hands on it. i get better millage than the 25 it says im suppose to get. i changed from a dodge crand caravan, love how this one handles on the road. the third row folds down so its dont make you feel like you are driving a bus all the time.
Cons: its hard to get to the third row compared to the caravan. the seats have too many levers so its mess to get the seat to fold right and hard to slid forward to get in bact there and wish the third row seats head rest werent inview when no one is back there. you have to keep them folded down.
Overall review: i love this car, wish i could have upgraded some but over all it is a great car. well worth the money. my father in law bought the same car. we are very happy drivers
