Wonderful Sports SUV
by TarheelMD80 from Orlando on 05/12/2011.
Trim: 2011 Acura ZDX 6-Spd AT w/Adv Pkg, Owned 1 year.
Useful?
Pros:
Differeent and sleek styling, interior is perfect. Seats are very comfortable, dash is layed out very well. Compares very well with BMW X6 but costs thousands less. Very much like a 2 seat sports car with extra space. Sound system and navigation system as good as I have ever seen in a vehicle. Back-up camera has three views and marks distances on screen - great feature.
Cons:
Back seat is not comfortable for large adults. Very hard to get in and out. If you need your back seat often, this is not your SUV. But like many other sprot vehicles (I traded a BMW 335i Convertable) the seat is usable in an emergency. Cargo space not on par with other SUV's (MDX or X5).
Overall review:
ZDX works best for 2 people who like the idea of a sports car but desire a little more storage space. Fit and finish are excellent, performance and handling as good as any on the market. Not for everyone, if you use your back seat for adults often, should probably look elsewhere.

Singular Cross-over
by An MSN Autos Consumer on 05/09/2011.
Trim: 2011 Acura ZDX 6-Spd AT w/Tech Pkg, Owned less than 1 year.
Useful?
Pros:
What first attrated me to this car was the styling. This is not a Kia Sportage or Toyata Rav4, which many "competitors" look like. Handling, ride and performance are superior to all other vehicles I drove including BMW X3, Audi Q5, Cadillac SRX. I found the handling and ride superior to some other Acura sedans and lack of cabin noise is excellent. Rear seat was snug for tall (6ft +) passengers, but they noted that leg room was surprisingly good. I have the Tech Package and really enjoy all the features it comes with.
Cons:
Getting in and out of back seat. Dealer suggested that you enter rear seat as if you are getting into the rear seat of a two door - head first. This is a great tip, but most people have to duck their heads before they figure this out.
Overall review:
If you want rear seat room, buy a minivan. If you want economy buy a Ford hybrid. If you want a singular SUV cross-over with great looks, performance, and accessories, check out the ZDX.

Pros:
Great styling, adaptive cruise control, excellent blend of technology
Cons:
Cargo space, rear seat headroom, MPG
Overall review:
I came to ZDX from a lexus convertible, SC 430. I was looking for a vehicle that would be exciting to drive and have more space. I test drove most of the usual SUVs in similar range; RX, Linkoln MKX, FX, X5, Q5 and ZDX. In terms of styling and driving feel, ZDX was very different. ZDX fits the bill perfectly (except for a few items mentioned above). It has excellent handling, way better than SC430. I own the vehicle for about two weeks, and I still am excited about the styling. It is nothing like anything on the market. I love the interior styling, blend of technology and luxury. It has features, like leather dash board, adaptive shock absorbers, that compares to $100+K cars.
In person it is a much better vehicle than seen in the pictures. It seems ZDX is not selling as well as expected, hence, they are willing to negotiate. Personally, I love the vehicle and I do not understand why it is not selling better. I'd say it is one of the best vehicles out there at any price range.
