Could Be a Good Car If Not for All the Road Noise
by Bring on the Noise in Las Veags on 07/18/2012.
Trim: 2011 Mazda Mazda6 i Sport, Owned 1 year.

Pros:
Roomy, handles well, decent gas mileage and a good value for the $$.
Cons:
LOTS of road noise and the plastic pan that covers the bottom of the engine compartment rattles at speeds above 60 on my vechicle, The Mazda dealership is unable to fix and says it i just "normal" road noise. Also the slant of the back door can it make difficult for adults to get in and out of the car.
Overall review:
I would be happy with this car if it was not for the road noise and the rattle with the engine compartment cover. If I had known it was going to make all that noise, I would NOT have purchased it. My suggestion if you are considering buying one, do an extensive test drive at all different speeds and road conditions to familiarize yourself with the various road noises so you will not get stuck in a situation like me.

Best 4 Door Touring Car
by DublinDave on 08/09/2011.
Trim: 2011 Mazda Mazda6 i Touring, Owned less than 1 year.
2
Pros:
The interior is huge and there is a lot of headroom and legroom. The seats are comfortable but they are a bit on the soft side. The trunk is also extremely large. The 4-cylinder acceleration is very good and the freeway ride is smooth and quiet. Highway gas mileage is over 30 mpg. The dashboard is pleasing to look at and the instrument lighting is orange and easy to focus on. The A/C is really cold, even when over 90 outside.
Cons:
The front seats are somewhat soft so I adjust the drivers seat to apply slight pressure to my back and legs. Additional side bolster support could be used. The car (Touring) needs heated side view mirrors. These should be standard in any car over $20,000. The digital display for gas mileage, outside temperature and trip odometer is too small. The gated shifter looks cool but it takes some time to learn the notches.
Overall review:
This vehicle is the best value of the 4-door mid-sized cars. Much less expensive than Lexus, Infinity and VW. Better value than Honda or Toyota. It has better styling than its competitors. Mazda has 0% financing on 2011 models for the month of August which lowers the total cost of the vehicle.

Best value for the best car in its class.
by Gator Dad, South Florida on 04/24/2011.
Trim: 2011 Mazda Mazda6 i Touring Plus, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
Great styling, outstanding fit and finish, reliable powertrain, best fuel economy and largest interior space. Huge trunk space. Assembled in Michigan.
Cons:
none
Overall review:
I also test drove the BMW 325i and a Mercedes. Their fit and finish and performance do not justify almost twice the price of the Mazda.
What nailed it for me was when the Volvo sales guy and the Ford guy BOTH kept saying "its the same as a Mazda 6..."

Outstanding!

Trim: 2011 Mazda Mazda6 s Grand Touring, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
Everything! the fit and finish is as good as the BMW, Audi, and even Mercedes...and Great Power!
Cons:
No dislikes to date...
Overall review:
I compared the Audi A4, BMW 3 series, and Mercedes C300...They were not worth the extra expense, their quality was no better, and even less in some areas. And for the price, I have a Fully Loaded Grand Touring model and an extra $20 Grand in my bank account!
