Pros:
Very good handling especially in the rain and in the snow (with all-season tires). Quick acceleration and all around practical car.
Cons:
Must get new tires immediately after purchase for the winter season. Some interior rattles.

Pros:
Great power, manic acceleration, tenacious grip, great looks for 2011 (moreso the 5-door hatch), great fit and finish. No problems so far. Easy to work on, although not as much so as older models, still a lot of parts from older models (good and bad). Full-framed doors (new for Impreza) should withstand abuse better than older doors, meaning better sealing for life. Solid handling at speed. Much kudos to the tires for monster grip. Good ride on smooth pavement. Paint on dark grey metallic looks great!
Haven't had it terribly long (obviously), but I expect it to hold up as well as my other Subie's, which is to say that if I keep up on routine maintenance, great.
Cons:
Gearing is too tall for almost any situation, e-throttle makes boost an on/off switch (fun, but hard to be smooth in bad weather), AWFUL dampers- lots of body roll and pogo-sticking (uncontrolled body movement) on less-than-smooth surfaces (A.K.A. the real world), some rattles already (the stock speakers at mild volume rattle the door panels, especially with windows partway down), AWFUL stock shifter (easily remedied via aftermarket parts). Monster tires=monster bills, and really serve to highlight a weak suspension. Also, summer-only tires necessitate a 2nd set of wheels/tires for winter. Makes a few odd noises (rear diff clunk, air pump noise, etc.), but it's a Subaru. Brakes are only meh.
Overall review:
Although it looks like I'm bashing the new WRX, I love it. 95% of its problems can be remedied for not a ton of coin via aftermarket parts (sadly, no good replacement dampers as yet). I've already junked the shifter and bushings for Kartboy pieces, which make a wonderful improvement. Overall, it's a blast to drive, and for the less-demanding driver who wants an amazing REAL four-season vehicle, it's hard to beat the bang-for-your-buck factor of the WRX. This is my fifth Subaru, and 2nd WRX, and while it's not as raw as the older Rex, that's not all bad. It's one heck of a lot faster!
Buying advice- fog lights if you're out in the boonies like me- the stock low beams are hopeless. A boost gauge can help with fuel economy. If you go sedan, the STI spoiler looks MUCH better than the standard WRX piece. I'd also hugely recommend a Kartboy short shifter with bushings, and STi tranny and crossmember bushings. A stiffer rear sway bar really livens things up on backroads.

Pros:
This car does exactly what it should for the price..and then some. The old saying "All show and no go" does not apply here, the car is a brut in smart agressive clothing.....I like that.
Cons:
If I were looking for an SUV or a pickup truck, or maybe a refined smooth riding galactic cruiser I would have a list here a mile long, but I purchased this car for its reputation lineage and incredible performance (all of which it lives up to). If I have to pick something the fog lamp lenses should be made of something other than glass lol.
Overall review:
Its been said before but it is so true, this car is in a class all by itself. If you think its an ugly car, you are probably missing the point, think of its looks as the naturally beautiful girl you over looked when you were young and foolish while chasing fake blondes and girls with too much makeup.In other words this sedan doesnt have a bunch of plastic techno garbage and oversized chrome wheels but it delivers the punch that those looks would elude to. If you want a ton of performance for your money, winter weather agility, a sound only a boxer engine could give you and a look that says " I dont need to prove anything.....but I could if I wanted to"....oh and you are looking for a sedan ;) this is your ride!

The best WRX in a long time.

Pros:
The 2011 is a major upgrade to the WRX family. The "wide track" body has been given to the WRX model and it creates a whole new feeling of performance in the car. There are other great upgrades to consider:
- The subaru "flare" is back. This vehicle looks great and drives great.
- Improved performance. The WRX 0-60 times are incredible for a sports car in the 25k range. Believe it or not, the 2011 WRX can match the STI in 0-60 times because of the 5 speed gear box.
- Lots of room! Your passengers will be happy with the increased seating space.
- Reduced turbo lag. The 2.5L engine helps to get rid of some turbo lag.
- Tow hooks in all the right places.
Cons:
The vehicle isn't perfect. There are a few things that don't add up in this new modell:
- Tires. The 2011 WRX is delivered to the dealership with Summer Dunlop Sport tires. Quite frankly, they are low quality tires. Change these as soon as you can. If you are in a snow climate, change them immediately.
- Steering wheel position. The steering wheel sits very low. If you have long legs it might be an issue.
- Interior shakes and rattles. Subaru is not known for interiors. There is a lot of vibration inside.
Overall review:
It has a GREAT look to it and the performance is awesome for a mid priced sports car. I think the biggest advantage to the WRX is the all-season performance. You won't get stuck in the snow (as long as you use all season or snow tires) and rain performance is top notch.
The car is definitely marketed to performance enthusiast but don't forget this is a 4-door sedan. It can very easily be your daily driver. However, don't buy this car as a "family" car. If you aren't looking for performance and drive-ability, look to other models like the outback. The gas mileage isn't great but I don't think that is a selling point anyway.
Overall, the 2011 WRX is the best version I have seen since the 2005 model.
