Glad I purchased my Altima
by 2011 Altima owner on 01/26/2011.
Trim: 2011 Nissan Altima 2.5 S Sedan, Owned less than 1 year.
5
Pros:
I like that this vehicle gets good gas mileage. The ride is comfortable and the inside doesn't have that cheap look that most cars in this price range have. Love the pushbotton start and intelligent key.
Cons:
The S should come with power seats. I'm also disappointed that daytime running lights and automatic lights are not factory equiped. Even my Corolla LE that I traded in had them.
Overall review:
Overall this is a good car that I would recommend. This is my first Nissan so we'll see how it performs after 1,2,3 years of ownership.

2011 3.5 SR is the one to buy!

Trim: 2011 Nissan Altima 3.5 SR Sedan, Owned 1 year.

Pros:
I bought the 2011 Altima Sr 3.5 It's a race car! So very fast and fun. Plenty of room for the family. It's the exact same car that you get when you buy a Maxima, but you pay 10 grand or more for the Maxima name. I've driven it over 10,000 miles with not one problem. I truly love this car. Only trips to the dealership were for oil changes. That's it. it makes driving fun!
Cons:
Not one thing.
Overall review:
Great car! If you buy one, you won't be sorry. Make sure you get the 3.5 six . It's the bomb.

2011 Altima SL
by DsmDriver on 01/08/2011.
Trim: 2011 Nissan Altima 2.5 S Sedan, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
Very nice looking car. The interior has excellent visibility. The seats are fairly comfotable, however sit too low to get in and out with ease. The Bluetooth is fantastic. The Bose stereo is awsome. The ride is very comfortable and quiet.
Cons:
The CVT doesn't seem to allow the engine to perform properly. I've had the car less than a week and perhaps this will adapt to my driivng style, but at this time, it almost feels like turbo lag. The seats are too low and lack the ability to provide proper thigh support even with the 8 way driver power seat.
Overall review:
This is a nice car and loading it up with options makes it very enjoyable. Reliability will remain a question as I see a number of reviews on older moldels with a lot of problems.

fun on the road
by hwaite48 livin in Wisconsin on 03/30/2013.
Trim: 2011 Nissan Altima 3.5 SR 6M/T Coupe, Owned 2 years.

Pros:
3.5SR 6MT is awesome, fun, and a reel factory city racer. Yes, Made in America. Top end fun on the highway and great mileage to boot (Avg. 28 -30). All the creature comforts have spoiled me and I would sleep in it for the heated seats if ever needed. Easily installed K/N cold air intake system and aftermarket ECU chip enhancements with final upgrade to stainless cat-back exhaust. Seats 5 for fun, but only the kid goes in the back or the golf clubs. Keep the back seat down so you can hear the roar of the Bose system at top speeds.
Cons:
Factory oil leak sucked, but Nissan serviced with no questions asked. Provided a personally requested loaner (used 350 Z!!!) and no one has ever done that for me on any new car I ever bought. That's what convinced to buy my Nissan 2012 Rogue from the same dealer a year later. Awesome, no-hassle service was tested a couple of times, but they eventually saw it my (the customer's) way and provided excellent service.
Overall review:
If you can find one of the rare 3.5SR6MT, buy it and don't steel mine. The Black version with Black Leather Interior is beautiful, but will get hot in the summer unless you park it in the shade. And for Goodness sakes, wax it.
