Powerful luxury. by Carl on 12/30/2011. Trim: 2011 Audi S5 4.2 Premium Plus Coupe quattro Tiptronic, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: Power and style. Comfort, great interior as well. Quatro is outstanding.
Cons: Tires are summer only. For the price ($60K+) you wonder why the side mirrors can only be folded back manually. Also side mirriors do not have an electric defrost for snow/ice conditions.
Overall review: Overall a great car that's fun to drive.

Ultimate Coupe by Cat herder form PA. on 04/25/2014. Trim: 2011 Audi S5 4.2 Premium Plus Coupe quattro Manual, Owned 1 year.

Pros: Surprising acceleration, smooth ride with excellent road holding. Easily carries my family of four and our luggage while codling us in luxury.
Cons: Voice control is a bit balky. Have only really gotten it to work for dialing phone.
Overall review: This has been my dream car since they first released the photos from the auto show. I am thrilled by how easily the car can go from everyday commuter to surprising SS Camaro and Mustang GT drivers. I hope to own this one for a long time and if I do end up getting rid of it, it will only be because Audi made worthy successor to it.

2011 Cabriolet S5 Blk/Blk by Jason on 12/22/2012. Trim: 2011 Audi S5 3.0T Premium Plus Cabriolet quattro, Owned 1 year.
Useful?
Pros: The car is amazing to own. Turns heads everywhere. Not common like a 3 series BMW or "put name here". The interior feels like a cockpit of a jet plane. Everything is at your finger tips. The car is loaded with technology and makes you feel completely in control at any speed (I've been up to 120 in mine and just ran out of asphault). Stops on a dime, corners like its on rails. My next car will either be a newer version of this car or the RS5.
Cons: Got to shop around as there aren't many out there and getting the color and options you want can be difficult. Mine is blk on blk convertible with all options. Too much control. Doesn't matter how hard you push the car you are always in control. This may sound like it should be a pro, but if you love to smoke the back tires, fish tail around a turn this isn't your car. With the quattro the faster you push it the faster you go, no slipping, no smoking of tires, no sliding, just faster. It would be nice to feel the rear end get loose instead of just taking off like a rocket everytime you hit the gas.
Overall review: I would rate this car a 9.5 out of 10. The only reason for not being a 10 is lack of crazy acceleration. It will smoke most anything off the line, but an R8 its not. This is the perfect car for a road trip or daily driver. I'm 6'5 and fit in this car easily with room to spare, can't say that about other cars in its class.

4 Cars in One by An MSN Autos Consumer on 05/28/2011. Trim: 2011 Audi S5 4.2 Premium Plus Coupe quattro Tiptronic, Owned less than 1 year.
Useful?
Pros: The s5 can turn from an everyday car to growling V8 sports car. The styling is unmatched with any car on the streets. The quattro seems to glue the car to the cement. This car seems to get looks everywhere it goes. The interior shows focus on fine details. The s5 also has the capability to turn into 4 different sport cars. So in fact you are paying for 4 different cars. The trunk space is extremely large. The seats hug you into place. The steering is nice and thick.
Cons: The car doesn't have the "bite your head off" ride that a lot of other sport cars have. You are paying almost 60 grand, one would at least expect nervousness when you have your planted at a green light. The car seems too engineered. You really have to work it to see it get wild.
Overall review: The overall review for this car is that it a reliable sports cars that can go around the track, as well as take you on long trips on the highway.
