Luxury. A true joy to drive, with only a few downfall
by An MSN Autos Consumer on 10/03/2007.

Pros:
* Lots of power when needed. A true joy to drive. Handles well in city driving, but can really put out some power when pushed. I hate to describe this care as "aggressive driving friendly", but I feel very confident when I need to move on the highway.
* Lots of extras. Power memory seats are nice, as the car pulls you away from the steering column when you exit.
* Factory stereo is excellent. It's a 6-speaker Bose, so it has some punch. A 10-CD changer is in the trunk, which provides plenty to listen to.
* Super comfortable in the inside, especially in the front seats. Very solid feel to everything.
* Excellent AC system that automatically adjusts the temp and speed to your liking.
Cons:
* Drinks gas like it was free. I average maybe 18-19 mpg, which is a trade off for all the power I have. Add the fact that you need premium gas, and a trip to the pump can cost you a good 50 bucks a week.
* Costly maintenance. The guys at the Infiniti dealership are great, but the prices aren't. I could get the work done cheaper, but I sleep well knowing that the work done is correct.
* It's a HUGE car, which means that parking in the city can be tricky.
* The cup holders are in the center console, which means you have to have it up to put drinks in it. Who thought this was a good idea?
Overall review:
A blast to drive. Very civil in the city, but a beast on the highway. When you want to punch it, you can without a single hitch. On the inside, it's roomy, though not so much in the back seats. In the front you have a truly immense amount of space and control over how you use it thanks to the excellent power seat system. This car turns heads; the outside styling looks very modern, but not in a Euro-sedan way. A standard 6-speaker Bose system means quality sound no matter what you are listening to. Another note is how quiet everything is on the inside. Very pleasant for those ling rides home. The downsides are the ying to this cars yang. The gas mileage is horrible do to the massive 4.5 liter V8. The maintenance costs are high because this is a high end luxury car. One would expect these things as all things in life are trade offs.
