THE OVERALL BEST CORVETTE by Don from Bullhead City on 06/09/2011. Trim: 2011 Chevrolet Corvette GS Coupe 1LT, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: This cars power to brake/suspension cabability ratio is the best of all corvettes. The grand sport is the LS-3 436 hp engine with ZO6 suspension parts and ZO6 huge brakes. The huge tires and wheel flares are also reminsient of the ZO6.The unpredictable rear end control loss coming out of corners (on the track) in the Z06 (never driven a ZR1) isn't noted in this car. I think the Z06 has to much power for the current corvette setup. In this car you can keep the throttle down coming out of turns with far more cofidence. . For peak performance get the manual coupe as it has shorter gear ratios, a dry sump oil system and a engine hand built at the Wixum Performance facitlity
Cons: nothing... some performance drivers complain about the seats, I guess I'm not as good a driver as all these others because the seats at my abilitiy level have not hendered me in any way.
Overall review: You get exactly what you are buying, a high performance sports car and all that entails. there is nothing that competes or even comes close for the money. If you can't get the Grand Sport , get a base or a 2010 low mileage used one. The last years of the C-6 traditonally speaking are the best of this series. You will not be disapointed.

2011 C6 LT1 coupe. by ferdberfel on 07/16/2011. Trim: 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe 1LT, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Greatly improved over the C5. Interior fit, finish, and materials seems more cohesive. Less harshness in the suspension over choppy roads. I find the seats to be improved over the C5. Fuel economy is every bit as good as an LS1, with 80 additional BHP available.
Cons: While not really a con, I do wish that the car had an actual DSG transaxle as opposed to the paddle shift manumatic.
Overall review: For the dollars spent, this is the most comfortable, quickest, and best handling Corvette I have owned. I can see and feel the work that GM has done to continue to improve the car. And cruising @ 70 mph w/30 mpg isn't bad either.

You always wanted one..............what are you waiting for? by Dobermann on 05/21/2011. Trim: 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe 3LT, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: POWER, great handling, and head turning good looks. The ride is very smooth, wind noise is minor, and the exhaust note is perfect. Braking and cornering is nothing short of race car performance.Balance of the car is 49/51, and makes you a better driver than you really are.Layout of the dash, and HUD make for a safe drive.
Cons: A little hard to get into for us older owners. With driver assistance( air raising the suspension about three inches) when the doors are open, it would make for an easy entry. Kind of like when the C-2 came out with a door that wrapped into the roof panel, Chevrolet knew then that it made it much easier to get into the car. I would still, pefer the the suspension to raise the car.
Overall review: Overall this is a must have car, for the driver in you. At a price of a luxury car, or one quarter the price of a super car, this is the car to die for.It is just as happy setting in the garage under the car cover, as it is at a car show or on an auto-cross course. You do not have to do anything special to race or maintain this vehicle, Chevrolet has done that for you. Put gas in and go, and at 30 MPG with a six speed manual gearbox, that doesn't even hurt.

It's Corvette at it's Finest!!!! by FlaGal on 11/10/2010. Trim: 2011 Chevrolet Corvette GS Coupe 3LT, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Keyless operation. G Force stats displayed on Heads Up. Finally a drink holder that might actually work. Turn-by-turn directions is awesome. Horsepower is enough to pin you to the back of your seat, and the need to holler "giddy-up" then floor it leaves you breathless. After owning a 1999 and a 2004, all I can say is it's a Corvette, and the designers have out done themselves this time. It truly is ALL AMERICAN MUSCLE
Overall review: Appreciate all that a Corvette is and stands for, you'll not be disappointed.
