This Car offers allot for the Money

Pros:
The car has very good options with a luxurious interior. The ride is very smooth and the engine sound is negligible especially at high speeds. The interior space is better than all of its competitors. The 3rd row seats can accommodate an adult easily. The price is very competitive.
Cons:
The acceleration is very slow. The suspension gets spoiled very quickly (I had to change the 4 shock absorbers at 35,000 Km service). The leather seems to be very attracted to dirt, it gets darkened very quickly thus requires very frequent cleaning. The door rubber seals from the chassis sides peel off very quickly. After 2 years the car parts start loosening and this will result in allot of knocking noises in the cabin.
Overall review:
This car offers allot for the money. I would definitely recommend buying this car if you plan to keep it for a maximum of 5 years.

The perfect car for senior lady

Pros:
Love this car! Had high mileage when purchased in Oct 2012 but miles were road miles driven over 16 mos. So all the kinks were out. To my knowledge nothing is wrong with this car and it is a dream to drive. Also is an "older lady's car" meaning the tail gate is totally electronic. Up down by itself-wonderful. It is Shara Bronze color so it doesn't show dirt either.

Hyundai best we have had

Pros:
very comfortable, luxury at a modest price, have put 53,000 miles on it in 11 months not one problem.will haul seven people with ease. best car we have ever had , traded our Santa Fe for it Santa Fe was great also. The Veracruz is very solid and well equipped.
power liftgate, front seats are incredibly comfortable
Cons:
3rd row seats are a little tight for adults.
Overall review:
have had great luck with 2 hyundai's , my wife travels a lot in her job about 800 miles a week. not one problem with a 08 Santa Fe put 84,000 miles on it in 18 months. 11 Veracruz has had 53,000 miles in 11 months. She buys vehicles on comfort, she has driven Ford, Toyota and Lexus, now says she will never buy any thing else but a Hyundai. most reliable cars we have ever had
She likes to tell people you know the difference between a Hyundai SUV and a Lexus SUV about 10,000

2011 Hyundai Veracruz Problems

Pros:
I have a 2011 Veracruz, 27K miles. One day driving, it gave the ECM (computer) warning message, followed by the entire electronic chassis collapsing and planting me on the side of the road. I took it to Seattle Hyundai and the next day they gave the car back to me saying it was a loose battery cable. Given no one had touched the cable I found that to be strange. The car ran, so I took it and the following day just before going to the freeway it planted me on the side again, same thing. I took to the dealer again (towed both times), they sad it was a throttle position sensor, today I called, they said it is something else, need to keep the car. That will be three days now.
Cons:
Not reliable to drive any longer.
