MB GLK350-4matic
by Prasad on 02/23/2012.
Trim: 2011 Mercedes-Benz GLK350, Owned 1 year.

Pros:
I own a GLK 350 - 4MATIC 2011 model, a new vehicle, for more than 14 months
Excellent Road Grip
Low Cockpit noise
Comfortable Maneuver
Good On Gas
Easy Maintenance
Good Pickup
Cons:
CD Changer is not up to MB standard
Audio 'System could have been better
Somehow I do have a feeling that the front windshield holding frame hampers my frontal visibility of both left and right sides. I drove vehicles with a better road view coverage while driving. Some visibility angle is cut down.
The air conditioning is a slow starter and I had to spend some time in driving the cold vehicle before the vehicle got the heat on.
Overall review:
I owned my vehicle for more than 14 months and I am a happy and proud owner. The Vehicle had been performing according to the MB standards. But for the small visibility angle front sides of the road, where I am feeling that i am a bit strained to find what is there is on the front sides ( left and right) of the road due to the windshield holding frame hampering my view. I strongly feel that I had a better frontal road view while driving other vehicles( Can some one please vouch this observation?)
I am a satisfied owner on the gas consumption too and my vehicle is averaging around 19.2mpg so far and on the highways it was around 24mpg.( I drove from WI to CT)
The vehicle performed extremely well in extreme cold and snow conditions of WI and CT and it is equally comfortable in the other end of the weather spectrum in TX
In short this vehicle gives no reason to be dissatisfied for owning the vehicle and I strongly recommend for owning

Solid, Well-Built Machine
by GermanEngineering from Denver on 05/22/2013.
Trim: 2011 Mercedes-Benz GLK350, Owned 2 years.
Useful?
Pros:
Classic look that should age very well. Easy to park anywhere. Phenomenal turning radius. Built like an absolute tank, door "thud" shut, interior materials extremely solid and seems like they'd last 1,000,000 miles. My 2011 is 2 years old this month and will soon roll 20,000 miles. In this time it has seen the dealership twice, for "Service A" and "Service B". Performance is excellent from the 3.5L V6. A/C pumps very cold and cools the entire car quickly. 4Matic all-wheel-drive has proven to be solid and stable in inclement weather and snow.
Cons:
Gas mileage could be better. It's improved on the 2013 GLK but I don't think it's worth the price tag to trade up. I accept this as a tradeoff as I'd rather be driving this than the jellybean Q5 or soccer mom styled X3. Backseat slightly smaller than the competition. Could be an issue if you have large adults in and out of the backseat often. Otherwise it's ample and reasonable. Some technology is lacking/behind the competitors, but again this has been updated on the 2013's. It doesn't make me want to sell my 2011 though, and I actually prefer the 11's looks.
Overall review:
You won't see yourself coming and going in the GLK -- it's nice having something not everyone else has. It has the immediate respect of the brand, even if the model is not known by all. After shedding the Chrysler relationship in 2007, Mercedes-Benz returned to building top-notch, well engineered and reliable vehicles like they have for so many decades before. I highly recommend the GLK, it has been one of the best all around vehicles I've ever owned. It is the ideal compromise between sport sedan and SUV, sportiness and luxury. Cannot go wrong with this purchase.

Best value out there
by Tom W on 06/20/2012.

Pros:
Like the size, the handling and the styling of it. Ours has the P1 Pkg which gives it the sunroof, heated/memory seats, rain sensitive wipers and a few other features which are great.
Cons:
We've only had it a short time but I can't find anything I don't like. The gas mileage isn't that great in town but it does pretty good on the highway. Other than that its perfect.
Overall review:
We had a 2009 C300 Sport and had nothing but trouble with it. 14 trips to the dealer in 21 months. When we decided to replace it with a SUV the M-B wasn't on the list due to the C300's problems. The fact the GLK is based on the C300 scared me off even more. But after looking around we kept coming back to the GLK. For the money its the best deal out there, in my opinion. Ours is the 2WD model with the P1 Package. The ride, the handling and the overall quality of the vehicle is what you expect with a M-B.
This one is a keeper.
