We feel we were the ginny pig. by Deb on 09/30/2012. Trim: 2011 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track Manual, Owned 1 year.

Pros: We bought the v-8 sportier Genesis. It has a lot of power, driving it is fun and it takes curves nicely. We like the car.
Cons: We've had problem after problem with the car, mostly the electronics. Weird things happen like roof coming open for no reason, seats get stuck which is very frustrating for a two person vehicle. Sometimes it won't come out of gear and just on and on. Evidently the main computer that operates everything is defective. The dealership won't do anything because they can't recreate the problem! Such an aggrevation! The tighter suspension makes the ride roughWe will try to exercise the lemon law on this one. .
Overall review: Too many quirks and keeps us frustrated.

Pros: Sorry, I'm so dissapointed I do not find pros on this car.
Cons: Overal quality very poor. Customer service from Hyundai Consumer affairs very poor, I totally regret this purchase
Overall review: Got car brand new with 30 miles in odometer, @ 1500 miles dealer replaced tranny under warranty because of grinding gears on 2nd and 3rd gear, after several trips to the dealer tranny still grinds, tried to talked to consumer affairs and so far no responce, do your research before buying this car, this is not an isolated problem many customers complaining with the SAME issue and Hyundai so far have not find a fix for the problem. This is from the 2010 brochure: Triple-cone synchronizers on first through third gears help ensure smooth and durable shifting, whether you’re headed up or down through the gears." Smooth??? No way it is smooth, my 2001 honda civic sounds better than this car, durable??? my tranny lasted only 1500 miles. This is just for them to sell you the car, then once you get it they will ingnore you.

Genesis 2011 3.8 GT/AT by Steve in Dallas on 12/27/2010. Trim: 2011 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Grand Touring Automatic, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: I like the way it looks and drives. You have the choice of being frugal on the pedal and getting decent gas mileage or being aggressive and enjoying a well balanced, eager car which drives like a cross between a muscle car and a sports car.
Cons: The head room in the rear seat is not suitable for a grown adult. My kids ride back there and enjoy the ride. It's only suitable for kids.
Overall review: The car is a looker and it has the power and performance to back up the looks. The warranty makes me feel good about the components under the hood. The tires that come on the car are not the best in the world for wet pavement. The traction control is aggressive but the good news is that it can be turned off completely and then the car drives like a true muscle car. The car begs to be driven hard and the response of the accelerator and brakes is immediate (no hesitation). Wish list items: 1. Drivers Seat memory 2. Telescoping Steering wheel.

Sit back and ride. by gerald ( Hot Rod) Mr. Carr on 11/14/2010. Trim: 2011 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T Auto, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: I own a 1980 corvette (Show Car), three camaros; a 1970 rally sport (Show Car), a 1971 Z28 (Drag Race Car), a 1988 Camaro (Show Car), a 1972 nova (Show Car), a 05 silverdo and the 2011 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T, each has a style of it's own. When I drive the Coupe, I just want to find some Interstate highway and sit back and ride, the car fells that good to drive. The gas mileage is around 30 mpg.
Cons: I have not had any problem.
Overall review: Its' a good driving car.
