Best all around "Drop Top" offered by Dave from Buck County Pennsylvania on 05/12/2011. Trim: 2011 Volvo C70 T5, Owned 1 year.

Pros: This car is an eye catcher with the top down or up; the new body styling has definately moved it up in class! This is my first Volvo and I'm very pleased with the comfort of the front seats and modest but very adequate interior controls. Sound system is awesome, even with the top down. Hard top engineering & function is a marvel & very solid. Interior is very quiet, and it's easy to forget you're in a convertable when the top is up. Trunk is spacious when the top is down; fits 2 beach chairs, blanket , cooler & umbrella! This car performs great on regular gas and gets an average 22 MPG. Dealer service is outstanding , and 5 yr /60 month free maintenance and warranty is the best offered!
Cons: Nothing to report here. The vehicle is everything Volvo says it should be, and I'm extremely pleased.
Overall review: I initially choose Volvo because it was one of only two makes offering anything other than rear wheel drive. Living in an area where snow or freezing temps are in the forecast over 5 months of the year, AWD / FWD is a must! This Volvo has been a great vehicle in any weather and is fun to drive. The exterior styling and comfortable interior offer a touch of elegance for transport to a formal evening party, or it's playful enough for a romp to the beach, or a casual stroll on winding roads in the country side. The C70 is the absolute best choice in an area where you must drive in weather that comes with 4 seasons and for a vehicle that can handle all,of your moods. I definately recommend Volvo vehicles in general; I've enjoyed driving other models provided as free loaners when my car was in the shop for routine service. No doubt the Volvo C70 T5 is a great vehicle and the best overall value of all the luxury vehicles in this class..

despite some hiccups, i love this car by An MSN Autos Consumer on 12/22/2010. Trim: 2011 Volvo C70 T5, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: my '11 c70 has 10K miles on it. the handling is good, corners well. no body flex, even though this is a convertible. The DPLII sound system is amazing. the top seals well, both from wind and rain. the interior is ergonomic and intuituive. the gps steering wheel controls are easy to use. lots of storage inside. the trunk is usable even with the top down, and with the top up, the trunk is huge. the interior has no rattles and is very quiet compared to other convertibles. back seat is very usable for short trips with adults. front seats have controls on the top rear that allow those seats to move for rear access.
Cons: at about 5k miles, i had to have the entire interior and dashboard disassembled to fix a problem with the a/c. oddly enough, my c70 loaner had the exact same issue-blazing heat from one side of the dash, and ice cold air from the other side, if one side of the car was in bright sun. also, the door interior door handles are painted and the paint is peeling already. the center console is made with this really cool looking metal but the metal dents easily. the acceleration isnt great with this car, the turbo lag is prominent. the maintenance plan doesnt include tire rotations.
Overall review: despite the flaws, the "good" of the car far outweights the flaws. great value, very safe and made well

2011 Volvo C70 T5 by Leesburg, Virginia on 12/17/2010. Trim: 2011 Volvo C70 T5, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: The styling of the 2011 model is outstanding. The optional swivel headlamps result in exceptional night vision. The heated front seats are extremely comfortable and supportive. Rear and side vision is very good with the top up.
Cons: Getting into and out of the rear seats is a challenge when the hard top is up.
Overall review: This car represents an exceptional value for a hard top convertible.

Get it. Great seats (btw) by An MSN Autos Consumer on 08/01/2010. Trim: 2011 Volvo C70 T5, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: Terrific ride. A real head turner. Love the FWD and terrific hard top. Huge back seat.
Cons: Small trunk when top is down
Overall review: I test drove this against the BMW 3 series and the Infiniti. All are terrific. This handles well in bad weather which is crucial if you live in a 4 season area
