Try it...you will be impressed
by Car guy from Omaha on 06/08/2011.
Trim: 2011 Lincoln MKT 3.5L with EcoBoost AWD, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
Just traded a BMW 745 li and bought this car.It has all the options from self park to back-up screen. The ride is great and the car is very responsive with the eco boost engine. The low noise level is unbelievable you hardly know your speeding. The American public believes a car has to be from Japan or Germany to be good....not true. This is a great car and deserves to be looked at if your shopping for a car that offers the whole package.
Cons:
Visability out the back window...I had read the arm rest is to short to put your arm on it while driving.....well it is... but my wife showed me how to move it forward.Apparently some of your wife's are not smart as mine.
Overall review:
Buy it...drive it...love it.
I did not mention the exterior look because that is a personal opinion.I believe alot of people think it is not an attractive car,I personally find it refreshing and not a cookie cutter look

Expected more from Lincoln
by lendad from MN on 12/25/2012.
Trim: 2011 Lincoln MKT 3.5L with EcoBoost AWD, Owned less than 1 year.
Useful?
Pros:
The ride, handling and power are excellent, particularly with the twin turbo 3.5 Ecoboost. I like the styling, very unique amongst crossovers and SUVs. Seats are very comfortable. Towing capacity (4500#) is impressive, tows my 3800# travel trailer with ease, even in 6th gear.
Cons:
The tilt/tele steering wheel cannot be extended close enough to the driver. Without orangutan arms you will feel pain on long drives - having to overreach for the wheel. Wheel also sits up way too high even when lowered to the max. This one design flaw ruins what could otherwise be an excellent long range trip car.
Rear-view camera that takes so long to activate, you will have finished your back-up before it displays. Power steering wheel tilt-up function is so slow you'll be out of the car, having had to squeeze under the steering wheel before it starts to lift.
Power tailgate wants to open after you've closed it.
15 mpg city, maybe 22 highway. Tow a boat and you're looking at 14 mpg.
Overall review:
The ergonomic issues I've mentioned absolutely ruin what could be a great luxury cruiser. I expected more from Lincoln when I moved "up?" from my old MKX. I will trade this in the spring for a Lexus RX350 or Acura MDX.
