Center console is wider than needed. It would be better to add lateral leg room.

Cons:
Ford dealerships are unable to repair vehicle properly when things go wrong. The dealers cause multiple issues while fixing one. Ford Motor Company does not assist customers who purchase the vehicle. Radio failed and replaced radio failed. Ford's expectation is that you bring the vehicle in unlimited number of times for them to be able to repair the vehicle. Who has time for that? The Ford customer service representatives are rude and do not let you finish sentences without interupting you when on the phone.

DO NOT PURCHASE this car unless you want to waste your time at the Ford dealership.

Pros:
My Wife Debra and I Traded our 2006 Chevy Silverado classic with 80,000 miles on it. From Massachusetts to Oregon,it served it's purpose. My Wife with 7 rods in her back her 2011 Ford Taurus Limited is comfortable, alot of room in front and back seats, gas milege and big trunk space. Tower Ford gave us a good trade in with an extended warranty. She loves the metalflake black that looks dark green at night, she also likes the rearview mirror camera, the 6 CD preset, and the automatic seat controls.
Cons:
I'am the Husband Steven , a bodyshop man . I pointed out to the salesman that the door post hinge area between the seats its still yellow , no black paint . This car had only 24,000 miles on it. The car facts showed it never had a wreck. I also feel this car drives similar to our 2006 Mercury Montego. It seems that with FWD it floats with the rearend in mind. Maybe with a SHO and AWD its different? My Wife Debra thinks that she wished it had a purse holder, free one year Sirus radio and wished the outside lights had real chrome instead of plastic around them.
Overall review:
Overall this car has right stuff for my Wife and that's what counts. From being rearended to having alittle more confidence ,she likes her Taurus with Traction Control.

Pros:
smooth ride, comfortable,has the horsepower when needed, excellent fuel economy for it's size,massive trunk,
went from a suv to this car, no regrets.
Cons:
hard to see out of back window
