Pros: the best driving car i ever owned.
Cons: the only problem i have with the car is the lack of storage space in the cabin.
Overall review: pro's unbelievable acceleration and great braking, how can you go wrong.i drive between new york and savannah a lot,i would not want any other car to drive. con's when i bought the vehicle,i bought the more basic model...mistake.if you can afford it,go for the more lux model, you will be happy you did.

Audi S5 - Almost Perfection! by BlueC5Kitten in San Antonio on 05/06/2010. Trim: 2010 Audi S5 4.2 Premium Plus Coupe quattro Manual, Owned 1 year.
Useful?
Pros: While many will argue that the history of reliability of Audis is sub-par at best, I have found this car to be extremely performance-based, reliable and free of defect, so far. Granted, I have owned this car for only 6 months, but I have enjoyed every mile I have put on the car to date. The V8 performance is on par with my 2002 Corvette, although the HP to weight ratio is skewed by the AWD; however and conversely, the AWD improves the overall handling of the car, even with the rear-wheel bias to the AWD. The navigation system is not overly intrusive, and is accurate. The sound system is quite pleasantly sonorous. Integrated Bluetooth is a must for those emergency calls.
Cons: The biggest dislike for these cars is that the AWD and heavy steel construction, paired with the smaller displacement V8, make for very poor fuel economy, even in 6th gear, which in most vehicles is for economy only. I average about 17-19mpg with my daily driving activities. I have bested 24mpg in strictly on-highway driving at about 75mph. Another dislike is some of the refinements that were displaced between the S4 line and the S5 line, including cargo hooks in the trunk, pocket netting, and a full-sized spare. Some will complain that the rear-seating space is at a premium; however, I find this to not be so for my passengers, as I am short and taller passengers can ride behind me.
Overall review: This is an incredibly refined, thoroughly luxurious car, with most amenities available at your fingertips. For me, this car is a second car in a single-person household, and so it suits my needs quite nicely. It has seating capacity for four, which enables me to take my family and/or friends out comfortably. As well, the LED driving lights are quite the head-turners. It seems that many folks are trying to figure out what kind of car it is, so they will either speed up or slow down to match your speed until they figure out the make and model of the car. I like to think it is educational for them, and they will be inclined to go take one for a test-drive and find out what a truly well-engineered car the S5 is. Seat comfort isn't as great as most would expect for a luxury line vehicle; however, one needs to bear in mind that this is the S-version of this car, which is far sportier with a stiffer suspension. Overall, I believe this car to be of very high quality and good comfort.
